    Have just returned having spent 10 nights at Loire Valley Parc De Fierbois. Park is situated approx 355 miles from calais and cost 55 euros in tolls. Took caravan and found the pitches to be on expensive side, but got very large pitch with electric, own water tap and drainage in the price.
    The camp has been designed very carefully and provides excellent facilities. It has a large man made beach and good swimming pool. For a small fee, you can use the ziplines going across the site lake, which forms part of an adventure assault course through the canopy of the forest, this is not for the faint hearted! There are free tennis courts, boules pitches and table tennis and you can hire bikes, go carts and pony rides around the site. Site also has internet computers and wifi which were very expensive to use. Found shop to be very expensive but large supermarket within 3 miles of site. Staff were very helpful and kids never bored (which makes a change). Would revisit and recommend to friends.

    The site was good, we had a mobile home which was OK but not spacious. Our friends had one of the Tents and this appeared to be a good choice, better value for money. The area is lovely and the Auberge in the village serves delicious food. Chenonceaux, Villandry and many other Chateaux are within 1 hour. Canoeing, walking, etc are all nearby. The on-site high rope course with zip lines is great fun and very well done.
    All in all we had a good holiday, but Canvas really let us down with the ...

    It's a good site, clean and well run, with good facilities and we had a great time. Lots for kids to do. Shop is Ok, shop staff very helpful. Castels staff very helpful and very good, except the entertainments staff in the evenings who were pretty useless really.
