ok, i wrote a review many many months ago..... kitchen bought in march 2009 and as usual, frought with all the difficulties that thousands of other have described....lack of communication, rude customer support, when you can get hold of them etc..... in september 09, they finally contacted me re exchanging the wrong worktops and said I'd be contacted the next week. Of course I wasn't. They called me last night giving me one hours notice that they'd be round to exchange the worktops.... now, call me impatient if you will, but having no faith in them, I bought my own worktops after 4 months and got a whole new kitchen from B and Q...... All their stuff has gone to the dump so I lost out on about £2,500 cos I couldn't wait.... They sais they'd be around to exchange the worktops at 6pm.... They turned up at about 8.30pm and rang on my doorbell. I had no intention of answering the door as I had just sat down to my dinner after a really long day at work.... They kept ringing my doorbell, phoning me on my mobile and landline but there was no way I was going to let them get in the way of Eastenders!!!! Also, there was no return number on the missed calls from them!! Finally, my partner answered the door (rest assured, nobody would dare mess with him!!!) and he told them we didn't want the worktops....I hope he was dying for the loo, thinking that me, a female would let him in.....Even if my partner wasn't here, I was sooooooo geared up for having a row with them!!! I am glad they had a wasted journey as I didn't want them anyway and I hope it pissed them off because you can't trust anyone associated with that company. By the way, they have changed their name again. You can't trust or believe any of them.... I orederd my "kitchen" in March, I have only made use of the appliances - some of which were wrong. I am still out of pocket, lesson learned!!! Please don't make the same mistake!! It's not just about the money, more about the inconvenience and the aggravation and above all.... the shocking rudeness and lack of customer care which is non-existent. Do yourself a favour and go to B and Q who offer a better service!

must agree with all comment about rocksolid 2nd kitchen i have fitted part missing wall unit clips for sink wrong colour trims and end panels damaged oven but best of all gas hob at been used plus customer service very rude- Read Guest's review (41 words)

After reading all the reviews i was devastated that we had paid our £100 deposit, if i hadnt of paid the deposit i would never ever of gon with them! Any ordered our kitchen beginning of the year, planned to have it dilivered in May but due to the delivery driver not being able ti deliver for every reason under the sun!! we had the kitchen in june at 1.30am in the morning, anyway because they cancelled on us so many times we asked for money off, which we had £200 off! THE ONLY REASON FOR ME GIVING THE 1 STAR IS THAT YOU CAN NOT LEAVE A COMMENT WITHOUT A RATING AND I REALLY FEEL THAT EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW HOW BAD THIS COMPANY REALLY IS!!!!!!!!! This has got to be the worst ever customer service I have ever recieved from a company. This is the worst company we have ever had to deal with. We are a professional carpentry firm and we have installed a kitchen from Rock Solid kitchens. We withheld £100 on the bill because there was so much missing from our order. The £100 was much less than 10% of the bill and we thought by withholding funds they might deliver the missing items quicker. We bought a kitchen from this company and parts were missing when their people came to fit it. It was then they told us it would be over a month before they could get the parts. Now I find the kitchen is very shoddy and not worth the money I paid for it. we odered our kitchen the at the end of january,unfortunatly,my mother in law passed away the nexr day,so when the kitchen arrived on the 24th feb,two delivery men,brought it in, boxes piled up.,we paid the money.they left.we did,nt look at the kitchen for a while because, we had a lot to do with funeral etc,and were very depressed.when we did get round to sorting it, the boxes were marked rejects, nothing fitted together.i wish i knew about reviews before we ordered.i,m new to internet,my daugh ...- Read Guest's review (229 words)

Agree with all the below comments about Rock Solid Kitchens.
Kitchen fitter drew up plans in June, September kitchen is delivered (at 9:30pm in the evening I might add!) after 1 wasted day off work to await for a delivery that never happened.
Opening boxes to start assembly - missing parts. Tried calling cust.service / after sales / any RSK phone number = no reply, lines are dead as is website. Not sure how will get missing parts.

Rock Solid Kitchens are competitively priced in the market which is presumably how they are still going. The quality is cheap and unusable that is if you are lucky enough to get your complete order. Customer services do not answer the phone so pointless trying to complain or obtain any missing parts, replacements. I have had to replace 90% of what was supplied as well as paying for the alterations and adjustments. They should be an option for zero star recommendations!- Read Guest's review (80 words)

i ordered a kitchen from rock solid kitchens,, in febuary this year,, it arrived in april,, missing parts,, units ,, every unit that i got was damaged,, the list of missing parts is so long if i wrote it all out u would be able to see it from space..best of it my kitchen fitter came next day to fit it ,,,,, only to tell me that the idiot sales man measured my kitchen wrong...so units had to be altered to fit..#

I am a Kitchen fitter/carpenter asked to fit 4 kitchens supplied by Rock steady kitchens. Apart from wrong size cupboards, missing parts, incorect fittings etc, their customer service dept(if you get a reply) are rude and unhelpful. This is a company that should be avoided at all cost. Trading standards have been informed, and we will be taking their advice and and going to the county small claims court, and take out a private prosecution as this would appear to be the only way to redress.- Read Guest's review (87 words)

I ordered my kitchen in April this year and it was delivered in May.I had two end panels missing. I also had their fitters. The fitters came the next day and worked solid for 2 days. I have made numerous phone calls to Rock Solid Kitchens and eventually the end of July the end panels were delivered.
When they arrived they were completely the wrong colour. Once again I phoned and was told they didnt have anymore that colour, I asked for a refund so I could buy the panels myself and was told yes. ...- Read Sandra 06's review (132 words)

on 26june 09 i rang the derby phone number to arrange for a salesmam to call and see me he did that same night, where i orderd a kitchen. deliverd 4jul09 to be fitted on july 13 when my fitter came thats when parts were found to be missing rang rock solid they noted parts missing said they take up to 21days rang twice more that week told same as before, so i rang the salesman he came round on 25jul09 i explained problem said would be sorted monday. i paid him a further £180 for two extra c ...- Read Guest's review (175 words)

Absolutely disgusted with the service from Rock Solid Kitchens! Have now waited 12 weeks for my kitchen to be finished. Shody workmanship too. Cupboard doors damaged and dont match. Parts missing. No one answers the customer service phone. 0871 number so I have to pay every time I ring. Have left numerous messages with the delivery department for them to log a call with the customer service department and still no one calls me. after 7 months of waiting still no deposit returned by rock solid kitchens. they have had £400 of my savings with no intension of supplying a kitchen. hope that somthing is done about this bunch. i have gave them 1 star on the rating only because i cant give them none- Read Guest's review (49 words)

I have absolutely nothing positive to say about Rock Solid Kitchens. I wouldn't in a million years recommend this company to my worst enemy. The quality is falling very short of what was sold when the designer was here. The legs for the base units are very flimsy and have to have extra support in order for them not to collapse. The soft close hinges are of very poor quality. The magic corner unit as well as the larder unit are to big for the carcasses delivered. Extremelly bad. Rock Solid Kitchens did not respect the delivery date and delivered days later. When it was delivered half of the parts were missing and 3 3 months later still impossible to receive a proper answer from them / delivery..
Can I ask if there is anybody interested to form an action group and employ a solicitor to deal with our interest / claim against Rock Solid.- Read Guest's review (64 words)

Rock Solid Kitchen......
After receiving our kitchen many parts were damaged or missing. There was only one delivery man and I will never forget him. When checking of the items we found that a few doors were damaged and a few handles missing. I told him that I was very sorry but I wouldn't be paying him any money until I received either the correct "undamaged" goods.
