Kwik Surveys - Pre December 2012

I actually liked KS when I first used it. All of my colleagues used survey monkey and thought I was crazy for using a no-namer like KS. I thought I had proved them wrong when, for over a year (or 2?), I used KS faithfully to create excellent surveys. Well I guess my peers got the last laugh. I went into KS just recently to re-create a survey that we use annually. To my surprise my log-in no longer worked. It turned out that they have changed (updated?) their website, which has erased all previous surveys from its hundreds/thousands of users. Seriously? No notice at all. Just total erasure. Wow! So now I'm off to survey monkey with my tail between my legs and with hours upon hours of survey re-creation to do. Thanks KS!

I put my survey up for two days now. Both days the site were down and hundreds of people who wants to do the survey couldn't do it. Embarrassing for the company.

I like the slick and simple design of Kwiksurveys.com. I have found that creating surveys on kwiksurveys site is much more intuitive as compared with similar sites like surveymonkey, and the layout to me looks far more sleep and professional. For these reasons, I chose kwiksurvey when I needed to conduct some important online research I was conducting. I have paid for service, and have been incredibly disappointed with the level of service. The website says that phone support is an option, but this is not true... even when requested via email representatives will never speak with you by phone. Via email response is slow, as all the emails appear to be fielded by only one or two people. This would be understandable, if these one or two people at least read the emails. Instead, their responses (which take about two days, on average) rarely have anything to do with my question at all, and on some occasions will simply say "I'm sorry I cannot help you with that" without any further information. My questions have all been very straightforward, relating to the functionality of the website or problems with their online payment service. Overall my experience has been something of a nightmare. The service is not worth paying for because there is no service whatsoever. Should any serious problem occur. I certainly don't feel that my data is safe on this site, and I certainly wouldn't use it again for anything except casual, unimportant surveys. And I would absolutely never again pay for the service. Very disappointing.

To be honest, this site was really helpful to me when I need to make an online survey. It's better than any other online survey, and although you need to pay for longer use, it's actually worthy especially for your company needs.

Everyone here dissapointed with the data loss, which is surprising because if your data are really important to you, at least you should be thinking about to back up all of the data (question & result) to your own PC/your own data storage just in case. Just a little advice, I have been using this online survey maker before July 2012, and my data result are still here in my computer because I backup all of the data little by little while the survey still on progressing.

This is internet, & this site was just a part of a machine made by human. Don't rely to it for 100%.

After writing a meticulous survey, everything is GONE!! Now replaced by this paid service (which is basically false advertising their services as free and unlimited) that is nickle and diming the old users to use their most basic features.

I am COMPLETELY disappointed in Kwiksurveys. We have been using their website for several years for our charity and it was essential to our operations. Tonight we noticed it had been weeks since we last received a survey and decided to check the link to find it's a 404 NOT FOUND error! How horrible!! We didn't even get an email or anything saying it was down! Our poor admin has been spending the past few hours pouring over the website and code and emails trying to remove all trace of kwiksurveys and we'll be spending the rest of the week trying to recreate all the surveys we had with them. This is... a tragedy, really, and why you can't trust any website that doesn't have a major name to it. I hope the people behind kwiksurveys knows how much pain and suffering they've caused people. We can't even login to the website, our login and password is not working and "forgot password" emails are not being sent to us.

Does anyone have any update on Kwik Survey please? I am absolutely desperate. I have read on their site that the data will be restored in the next 36 hours, but that was posted at the end of June. I can download one set of survey respones, but I know I had 123 respones in total. Is there any point is trying to contact Kwik Surveys?

why cant i open our account.the link that kwiksurvey send us about autorizing our computer to log in is failed.plsss help us..the results of our survey is very very important to us..pls help us

Like many other users I was running a survey at KS. All look good until I'm informed via their website of an attack to KS by some douchebags aka hackers! I cannot believe that this is happening. There is no contacts that one might use. I sincerely hope the data is NOT lost. My final words go to the (supposed) hackers who attacked KS: go find a hole, get inside and cover yourselves up. DO NOT LEAVE THE HOLE EVER!!! You just managed to ruin a lot of people's lives!!! FOR WHAT REASON???...

I was getting ready to collect data from respondents and when they attempt to click the link they got the following message: Important announcement On the 25th of June, KwikSurveys experienced what we initially believed to be a major server failure and corruption of our data backups, which we initially attributed to hardware issues and worked around the clock to restore on a new and more reliable server. It has since emerged that this loss of data was not hardware related, but was the the work of a group of hackers targeting the company, who returned over the course weekend with the intention of completely destroying the site, our business and your data. We are currently collecting information now to pass on to the relevant authorities for further investigation. We are working to restore access but do not have an ETA or further information at this time. When access is finally restored it will be restricted to downloading reports only. We are working with other companies to arrange a more reliable replacement service for our paying customers and will be in contact as soon as we can. We will post more information on the current situation as soon as we have it. My survey is due in a few weeks. I am highly upset and worried that I may not be able to retrieve my survey at all. it if unfair to strat over after all that effort and energy I spent designing it.
