I actually liked KS when I first used it. All of my colleagues used survey monkey and thought I was crazy for using a no-namer like KS. I thought I had proved them wrong when, for over a year (or 2?), I used KS faithfully to create excellent surveys. Well I guess my peers got the last laugh. I like the slick and simple design of Kwiksurveys.com. I have found that creating surveys on kwiksurveys site is much more intuitive as compared with similar sites like surveymonkey, and the layout to me looks far more sleep and professional. “Why should dissappointed for this?”

To be honest, this site was really helpful to me when I need to make an online survey. It's better than any other online survey, and although you need to pay for longer use, it's actually worthy especially for your company needs. Everyone here dissapointed with the data loss, which is surprising because if your data are really important to you, at least you should be thinking about to back up all of the data (question & result) to your own PC/your own data storage just in case. I am COMPLETELY disappointed in Kwiksurveys. We have been using their website for several years for our charity and it was essential to our operations. Tonight we noticed it had been weeks since we last received a survey and decided to check the link to find it's a 404 NOT FOUND error! How horrible!! Does anyone have any update on Kwik Survey please? I am absolutely desperate. I have read on their site that the data will be restored in the next 36 hours, but that was posted at the end of June. Like many other users I was running a survey at KS. All look good until I'm informed via their website of an attack to KS by some douchebags aka hackers! I cannot believe that this is happening. There is no contacts that one might use. I sincerely hope the data is NOT lost. My final words go to the (supposed) hackers who attacked KS: go find a hole, get inside and cover yourselves up. Horrible thing now, but used to be so great... I was such a happy customer, using this tool was easy and intuitive, providing for many options while building questions, then providing for mailing lists, invitations etc management... What a horrible web site! They have lost my PHD dissertation data. The web site is down now and there is no way to access to Kwiksurveys. I recommend using a paid website for surveys instead of dealing with such scam websites that lose your data! (read more)

Currently are facing the same problem as others mentioned. I have to use other survey tool and re-invite the respondents to fill in the questionnaires again. Just like others I need this data for my thesis, which is due in three weeks. I only needed 5 more participants, which I was confident that could get over the weekend. I understand that they are dealing with issues with the site but so are we. The least they can do is give us some sort of information as to whether there's hope for the retrieval of our data or if we should go ahead and start over. At first I really enjoyed kwiksurvey, it is very user-friendly and you have a lot of choice of question designs. The results were clearly reported. BUT it seems that this website is unreliable and crash all the time.... I don't have access to my results and even to my account anymore, it seems that they've lost all my data.......................... I need to do everything all over again for my thesis... Currently writing a survey for work using Kwik Surveys. As I need to produce the survey in multiple languages, it has taken me a long time to create. I understand your frustration. Especially when your project is dependent on the survey. I have to admit, it took about 1 week. It does take a long time though (I can only imagine how many customer's data they have to restore). It takes me almost an entire day just to transfer my old files from an old computer to a new computer.
But hang in there (if time allows), I am sure KS will try their best to restore your data. Keep checking your account. Good luck

Just don't know what these negas are all about. I've been using kwiksurveys.com for free over a year and I found their customer support really helpful. Yes my survey was gone once, but it was returned back 24 hours after I made a request on customer support so I've got no reason to hate them. For those who complain about its customer support. I'd been using KwikSurvey for 4 years and nearly 20 fairly large surveys and always found the software and back up service excellent. But their PR with regard their present issues is dreadful and a total disaster!
People have deadlines, contracts, reputations etc on the line. I for one, by e-mail or phone, couldn't make any contact with customer support and was without access to my surveys/data for over a week. Fortunately I didn't have a deadline and didn't have to contact any custumers/client to tell them I'd 'lost' their data.
Peoples' complaints are justified.
Perhaps if the service is back up and running again 100% KwikSurvey ought to e-mail all their customers and tell them so!

Hi there, yes I was unable to login for about 6 days. Was panicking as I've a few projects that depend on those surveys. I was able to log in yesterday and immediately downloaded all my surveys...... there is hope. Also it was great to be able to come onto this website and ease the anxiety as I couldn't get any information about the situation anywhere else. Good luck!

When conducting research you just cannot afford for any glitches (irrespective as to whether the service is free or not) to occur. I am going to have to contact all my respondents again and the whole situation is totally unacceptable. I will never be using Kwik Survey again. A pity because I found their service excellent for nearly four years now and had conducted many online surveys. The fact that there is no response to e-mails and 'non-assigned' telephone numbers is dreadful. (read more)

We are aware that about 10% of our users are unable to log in at present though most surveys have now been restored.
I have had similar lose of data for my dissertation but I see tonight there may be some hope, the message below has been posted.
We are currently restoring the remaining accounts from a remote backup due to a recent server failure. Due to the size of this backup this will take some time but we hope to have completed the restoration the next 36 hours.
We ask that you do not e-mail or phone regarding this issue as our customer service agents are unable to provide you with any further information.
Further updates will be provided in this space.

The service announcement is poster in a red box on the report a problem page to get to this firstly you need to log in and then click report a problem at the bottom of the page. I still cannot access my data fully. I have received a response this morning following reports to the website several times.
It says:
Thank you for contacting the support team.
Your request has been received and tracked in our ticketing system and will be answered within 24 hours (normally 2 hours during business hours.)
I am just keeping my fingers crossed and hope it will get restored shortly.

I can now say that my data has been restored, although this has all been a nightmare scenario , Kwik Surveys have done their very best to restore the data and I now feel satisfied. It appears it was a hardware error which after all could happen to all of us on our own harddrive on our pc. I trust everybody reading this does a daily backups of there data if not you need to consider it.

Yes I am also having problems , I have four surveys stored for my MSc dissertation and can only see two of them. I have tried to call the phone number on the website and it is faulty, very concerned. Yesterday it said there was a fatal error but it is back up today just does not have all data and also cannot generate pdf copies and other facilities. Generally its been great up until now. Please somebody let us know what is going on.

Great News everyone! I just got a response from Kwick Survey... we can breathe everything will be ok. This is what they wrote:
"We are currently in the process of restoring the kwiksurveys database from a remote backup following a major server failure. Due to the size of these backups it will be about 24-36 hours before everything is completely restored. We have restored about 80% of the accounts on the system and surveys are being collected normally.
FYI we only took over the kwiksurveys website about 2 weeks ago so this was particularly badly timed. We have now moved the site to the UK’s highest quality host, RackSpace who will be maintaining the site from this point onward.

I join kwiksurvey yesterday evening and love how easy the tools worked! I sent out some invites and all the sudden, I can't access the site. I tried different browsers, computers etc. Is this site going through some major changes that we don't know about? I really like kwiksurvey and hope they can fix this issue asap. I had been running a survey for many months, then all of a sudden ALL 11 of my surveys and the responses went missing. months of work down the pan!! It might be 'free' and advert supported but this has cost me $1000's in lost data. There is no phone support. The number is fake. There is no email support, they do not reply. Hello sorry to hear about your data lost etc..i signed up yesterday evening love the template with video etc..I sent out 115 invites got 2 responses then all the sudden, the site is down or something. I have looked around the internet at various survey sites and tried out several of them and I can say that of all the free services, kwiksurveys.com offers the best features when it comes to free surveys. Everything is there, such as data results, question creation and editing, sending out emails, posting your survey links on other sites. Would highly recommended. Sounds like your browser is set-up incorrectly. Lots of web applications require JavaScript and cookies to be turned on.

KwikSurvey offers a great deal of information regarding your survey results. I am still in disbelief that these services are FREE!!! I am going to donate money to the organization for their great service... KwikSurvey is the complete opposite of the "you get what you pay for" cliche'. I received A+ service for ZERO dollars. You can get started immediately by going into the site by the 'Try live demo' button.
Creating a survey will take you several minutes. Once completed it can be sent via the inbuit email system or a link can be posted on forums or blogs.
Overall the system is quick and easy to use. The best part it that it is free. Well recommend Kwik Online Surveys.

I have the same problem!they are horible!and they do not even answer to the e-mails!It is improtant for me becasue it is survey for my dissertation!shame on them!
