Supernatural follows the lives of Dean and Sam Winchester. Who travel accross the country helping other affected by paranormal activity, this is sparked in them as an early age their mother was killed by a demon and before them it was their fathers ambition to track the demon down.Therefore from a young age Dean and Sam are trained as 'Hunters'.The first episode opens up with Sam at college who is destined for the law profession wanting to escape his families past, and Dean who was always loyal to his father turns up at Sam's house after not seeing him for 2 years to tell him that there father has been on a "fishing trip" and hasn't been home for a few days. As much as Sam's life is being mapped out for him at college he would never turn his back on his family as the ties between them are strong from the outset. This queues them travelling across country to track down their father and battling as many evil spirits as they can along the way.Supernatural is now in its 3rd season and its just gets better! It evolves over time.I absolutely love it, with a great mixture of genunie fright and action, the growing bond between the brothers and Dean witty one liners, its a must watch show in my book! If you liked Buffy and Dark Angel...you can't fail with this one! Highly recommended! It also helps that Dean played by Jenson Ackles and Sam played by Jared Padalecki are more than easy on the eye!
