    Really rational and easy to follow advice. Some of the spreadsheet examples seem a little complicated, but still with them, read the instructions a few times and try a few examples and they will suddenly seem very simple. Overall a really good book... really spoke to me (particularly the Sally Field Syndrome!)

    Alvin Hall, Your Money or Your Life: A Practical Guide to Solving Your Financial Problems and Affording a Life. I found this book really helpful, The topics covered include dealing with debt, savings and investments. It offers simple, practical advice to get you back on track and make the most of your money. The style of writing is informative, and in no way makes you feel daft if you are in a little bit of debt trouble. Great book.
