Good Points: This great book distills what amounts to one year of college economic courses into 100 pages. The basics of economic theory and, more importantly, economics application to reality are clearly delineated in its pages.

Bad Points: The book has very few bad points. One of them may be an oversimplification of the role of government in influencing the economy. The point is that governments can only influence not control the economy.

General comments: John Charles Pool,Ross M. LaRoe, The Instant Economist - It's a great book overall. It is easy to read and full of good concise economic truths that are easy to reference.
