“Great product!”

I have been intrigued since I first found that there are good quality night vision products for us regular (read not wealthy) folks. Long story short. I have purchased several brands to find the best bang for my buck (not wealthy, just sold the ones that did not meet my standard). I found the Yukon products far superior to any others anywhere near the sub $500 range. The Yukon 1x24 NVG were exceptional. While they do not provide focus up close and far in the dark at the same time, if you focus them for a few feet ahead of you, you can walk without falling into holes and you can see quite well, even in complete dark. The IR is not for long range. In fact, it seems to be designed for what the goggles were designed for, seeing in the dark while you walk hands free. Very good product and a long warranty. Best goggle below $500 out there. I LIKE 'EM!

“Yukon Tracker Nvg 1 X 24 Goggles. The goggle works...”

Yukon Tracker Nvg 1 X 24 Goggles. The goggle works well for a Gen 1. Images are not to fuzzy. The goggle is good for camping, and night time fun. One can walk around in the trees with the head gear on, and the goggle stays in place. You can see through the night. The built in IR does produce better lignting in low light conditions. The IR will make and animals eyes glow, this makes them easy to spot in the dark. You can purchace a magnifier that attaches to the goggle. It does work and brings images closer. The draw back... the goggle is a 1x, yet objects do not focus up close. Low hanging tree braches, and the ground at your feet. They can be seen, but are not focused sharp. Things to look out for while tromping around in the sticks at night. All and all a lot of fun. I purchaced another for my better half. Now both of us will be tripping over things while out camping in the Rocky Mountain.
