Out of the 14 reviews I have read ONLY 5 were positive reviews, this tells you something? Have dealt with this company a few times now and each time the product was damaged, wrong item, prices displayed were with wrong info and wrong price. I'm all for 'what you pay for, is what you get', but ABUSIVE,UN-TRAINED STAFF IN CUSTOMER SERVICES is not what I want thrown in with the price! bad workmanship verey poor equipment i would advise anyone who wants to get good long lasting tac to avoid this shoping site at all costs would have been beter going to the pound shop its that bad and when it comes to getting you money back forget it because you wont get it back i bought a 2 man bivvy parts missing all the seams were laderd and they still wouldnt give me my money back very arogant call center staff tell your friends to stay clear poor tac shop (read more)

Ive been using Dragon Carp direct for a few years now and frequently visit the Hucknall shop. I find their gear really good for the price and I have never had issues with broken kit or returns. Advice is always feely available as well.

Their prices are keen and do relect what you are getting. I can honestly say I have never lost a fish due to the gear either.

If you are not sure - visit one of the Dragon carp Roadshows beforehand and check out the gear. Its worth a look.

got the top 2/ bung/ connectors BUT NO ELASTIC £6 worth!!
i called them they said theyd need the recipt, after much argueing they said they had put one in the post 1st class this is three months ago

They are very good and great value for money .
not everybody can afford silly money for a rods/reels ect that does the same job as them .
I find they they gear it more then up to what i've been using it for (carp fishing ) not lone been back from france and had carp to 44lb witch was no probs coming in , also rain for 3 to 4 days and the bivvy stud up to it fine .
All in all they good , cheap , and great to deal with

its one of the worst companies i have ever had the unfortunate missfortune of useing i ordered some stuff once before and some of it broke within a few weeks and i thought i would give them another chance as some of the other stuff was ok but this time i ordered a water proof suit that would not fit so ilooked for a return slip which i never found so i got in touch and was told i had to pay postage again to send it back which ment it would cost more... I found this review not helpful because... The vendor doesn,t explain what he was doing with the tackle? Was he using it in the way it was intended to be for ? likewise did the waterproofs have the wrong size label,did he mis-measure himself,or possibley not allow for the appropriate clothing he would need underneath. Lastly did he put his complaint to he company in a reasonable manner?

the dr sping 9 ft pike/carp rod was great value for money i tried it out this weekend and managed to catch a 14lb pike and a 9lb pike the rod manged these vey well and could easily manage a high twent fish for 12 pounds i think it it good value for money. (read more)

In my opinion the Dr Spin Pike Fishing Kit I got of www.dragoncarpdirect.com is not what I paid for and falls short of being of any use unless you plan on fishing in a puddle on the pub car park!
The quality of equipment if used for pike fishing will only cause harm to the fish in my opinion. To me it is just more rubbish to put in the shed only to be given away at scrap collection time.
I would under no circumstances buy any of this equipment if i valued the pound in my pocket.

I found this review not helpful because...when I recieved my order from Dragoncarp it was all there, as for quality, my bite alarms, 3 for a fiver, are worth just about that. the rest 3 rods 4 reels and a pod was less than £100 and are well worth the money and will last me long enough until I saved the mega bucks to get some posh gear.
