Phone purchased at the o2 retail outlet in my home town. I ended up having to get Trading Standards involved to get a refund. I suggest that anyone who has problems with any mobile phone checks their consumer rights as you actually have more than the shop where you purchased it would like you to know! It appears that my particular phone had design/manufacturing faults and mine was actually not fit for purpose and on that basis, having had it exchanged once and repaired ONCE, and within a few... had this 'repaired' three times, deleted messages returning, dates altering themselves, will not receive messages, switches itself off continuously - need i go on. O2 are now to replace it with another refurbished LG KT520. (read more)

from the moment i bought this LG KT520 phone the mp3 wouldnt work..had that sorted..then 2 weeks after buying the phone it completely froze. it took removing the battery to get it working agen.it then wouldnt work at all..turned itself on and off..and the camera took pictures on its own occord..iv had the phone replaced and the new one fixed twice..now its playing up agen so i have to get bak onto o2 to sort it out..another phone or my money bak will be the answer to this mess..because of... Don't buy the LG KT520 phone. It is not a mobile, features are fine but within four days of purchase, screen looked like a spiders web and phone was unusable. Took it back to shop and was told that this was because it was in a pocket - OK so where do folks keep mobiles if not in pockets/bags. I don't think this phone is fit for the purpose it's sold, LG need to go back to the drawing board on their screen - iphone has no such problems. i really like this LG KT520 phone, it is stylish, but still has all the mod cons that i want. messaging and internet great, the mp3 has great sound quality, and large screen but takes awhile to get use to the optical sensor. (read more)

Avoid this phone at all costs... it's simply not worth the bother. Had this phone since the day it became available.The mp3 player was unusable and I gave up after a few weeks of it.
It froze completely and required battery removal to get it working again.
The phone has now decided that it doesn't want to stay on... it constantly turns itself off and on, even though it was working perfectly fine just a few hours ago.

LG KT520 review - Really do hope this is just a one off bad phone that i have got because i do like the phone but it is far from acceptable for it to have gone wrong like this after just 2 weeks. (read more)

hmm... i've been using this phone for 1 month. i've got to agree that the batt doesn't last long. the batt needs a little improvement but overall i giv an 8. it's features are fine, maybe juz be a gentle when sliding. every phone needs extra care but it also depends on how the user uses the phone.

The LG KT520 is a good looking and has amazing features such as video calling. The earphones feel cheap but fit perfectly into ears. It is also extremely cheap. It can also take very good quality photos and has a great lcd display. I am annoyed that you cant turn off the photo shutter tone!but all round an amazing phone! (read more)

The LG KT520 is a sexy phone with good sound, picture and camera quality. Looks lovely and slides well, good variety of accessories, gadgets and options on it! The sensor takes some getting used to but is good. An ace phone...love it! (read more)

Doesn't look like the picture shown on this site! It's actualy a slide phone with a quality finish. Not too pricey either! I haven't dropped it on the floor yet, so cannot comment on robustness! (read more)

<br/>I have this handset and it is doing exactly the same as yours - It is now a recurring fault in my handset as it's about to go back to the shop to be sent away for repair for the SECOND time in THREE WEEKS!
