Good Points: Looks, performance, value as a s/h model, spec, practicality even as a convertible, quality.
Bad Points: Ride a little harsh after coming out of a 5 series, but its a sports car!, bit tight in the back seats.
General comments: After reluctantly parting company with my faithful old 528i (on the other half's instructions!) we recently purchased a 330 Ci M Sport convertible with the auto/steptronic trans as a used model with 34000 on the clock, lovely example with all the refinements one would expect in a BMW and in remarkable condition, being not very convinced this was a good move I can say hand on heart that it thrills me in a way no other car has, including the M3 I test drove which to be honest was quick, very quick, but way too stiff, harsh, and the SMG was appalling in full auto mode. the 330 is quick enough, smooth, with the steptronic auto it cruises at slow speeds well and looks awesome without going ott, when you open the taps it delivers more than enough performance and the handling is superb, even though its not quite the silky 5 series its ride tells you in no terms that this car is purposeful and you will be smiling from ear to ear when you start to find the limits of adhesion. from someone who was not a 'believer' I have to say that now the thought of going anywhere now, even on shopping trips!, is a pleasure just because of the journey there and back. Well done BMW, you have created something magical.

I love the shape of my BMW 330ci convertible. The performance was better than I expected when I first drove it and it handles like a dream.
this is a great car and I would recommend it to evryone. Yes it does drive as good as it looks. Unfortunately for me I paid a lot of money for my car when I first got it and in the last 12 months they have depreciated heavily. Fortunately they are now at a price where it make them more affordable for most people. I would recommend this car to anyone as it ha ...- Read Guest's review (121 words)

I would have to say that out of the complete E46 convertible range the BMW 330ci is at the top of the list. The power it has is fantastic, really gives you a buzz when your foots on the pedal. It also have great breaking as well as handling. The looks are superb, a real head turner. M-sport body kit, alloys, leather interior is all top class, and its really a pleasure to have on my driveway. I recommend this to anyone looking for a BMW convertible and I also believe that its a better buy than th ...- Read Guest's review (122 words)

A 4 seater convertible that actually has room in rear seats!
Suits both sexes (not too feminine).
Sport version essential.
No COMPETITION for the money out there.- Read tedd4900's review (49 words)

The Car is awesome - anyone considering a BMW convertible has to get a decent spec engine, the 1.8, 2.0 are just not worth bothering with. This 330ci sport with suspension upgrade is breath taking. A very big thumbs up and value for money.- Read Guest's review (79 words)

This is an exceptional car for the money the best I have owned even if the others have cost more. I got everything you could want from a convertible sportscar, the family, performance and still got the fun! I would recommend this car to any of my friends and therefore confidently recommend it to you.- Read Guest's review (59 words)

The BMW 3 Series 330 Ci Sport Convertible has absolutely stunning looks, holds to the road well, and the auto is surprisingly quick. In my opinion there are blind spots when reversing, ad even the CD changer is an optional extra. Overall it is a very very very good car and the best ive ever had. I would strongly recommended. The hardtops are lovely but for that extra 2000 or so the soft top makes it a bit more special.- Read Guest's review (77 words)

The BMW 330 Ci Sport Convertible is quite possibly one of the best cars in the world, with a perfect balance of a sports car and a family car's good points, with none of the impracticalities of a stupid 2 seater convertible with bad economy and none of the 'poser' stigma attatched to drving a £60k+ convertible. It has all the power needed to use the roads in Scotland and no wastage of specs since most ferraris and such like are not often maxed out on any road in Scotland. It also has four ...- Read Gordon Larson's review (127 words and 1 comment)

The new BMW E46 convertible range is great but go for the 330 Ci sports model as it is a far better drive and has much better spec, having the extras of 18" MV spoke alloys, 'M' handling pack, M Aero dynamic kit and sports seats. A much better car than a Merc CLK 320 which is dearer too.- Read Arj's review (127 words and 1 comment)
