I have owned my E46 330 ci sport convertible from new, nearly nine years now. Although I also own an E46 M3 as well I have to say that my 330 is the favourite car I have ever owned, and at the age of 62 I have owned everything from a lotus cortina, cosworths to the fabulous E46 BMW's. Joyous looks & drive with plenty of torque and power.It handles and corners smoothly with confidence. I've owned my BMW 330d MSport from new in March 2009. The ownership and driving experiences have been very different. The car is a joy to drive on long or short journeys - roof up or down. Its the best diesel in its class in my view and will never be bettered in terms of combined performance and driving experience. I love the shape of my BMW 330ci convertible. The performance was better than I expected when I first drove it and it handles like a dream. this is a great car and I would recommend it to evryone. Yes it does drive as good as it looks. Unfortunately for me I paid a lot of money for my car when I first got it and in the last 12 months they have depreciated heavily. I would have to say that out of the complete E46 convertible range the BMW 330ci is at the top of the list. The power it has is fantastic, really gives you a buzz when your foots on the pedal. It also have great breaking as well as handling. The looks are superb, a real head turner. M-sport body kit, alloys, leather interior is all top class, and its really a pleasure to have on my driveway. The BMW 3 Series 330 Ci Sport Convertible has absolutely stunning looks, holds to the road well, and the auto is surprisingly quick. In my opinion there are blind spots when reversing, ad even the CD changer is an optional extra. Overall it is a very very very good car and the best ive ever had. I would strongly recommended. The hardtops are lovely but for that extra 2000 or so the soft top makes it a bit more special. (read more)

The BMW 330 Ci Sport Convertible is quite possibly one of the best cars in the world, with a perfect balance of a sports car and a family car's good points, with none of the impracticalities of a stupid 2 seater convertible with bad economy and none of the 'poser' stigma attatched to drving a £60k+ convertible. It has all the power needed to use the roads in Scotland and no wastage of specs since most ferraris and such like are not often maxed out on any road in Scotland. It also has four... (read more)

The new BMW E46 convertible range is great but go for the 330 Ci sports model as it is a far better drive and has much better spec, having the extras of 18" MV spoke alloys, 'M' handling pack, M Aero dynamic kit and sports seats. A much better car than a Merc CLK 320 which is dearer too. (read more)

The BMW 330ci sport has always been a passion for me, and this review has reinforced my love of this beautiful car. It is quite possibly one of the best cars in the world, with a perfect balance of a sports car and a family car's good points, with none of the impracticalities of a stupid 2 seater convertible with bad economy and none of the 'poser' stigma attatched to drving a £60k+ convertible. It has all the power needed to use the roads in Scotland and no wastage of specs since most ferraris and such like are not often maxed out on any road in Scotland. It also has four seats, accomodating those who do have more than 1 friend. Definately the best car i could imagine.
