    The Mountain Weather Information Service is very informative and well worth reading before setting out. Would advise anyone going walking to read this review as it gives details of every potential adverse weather possibility. The layout of information is very clear and easy to read, it is very concise and to the point. After reading this forecast there is no reason for anyone to be without the correct clothing for their walk.

    I use the Mountain Weather Information Service website quite a lot for finding out what conditions to expect when I'm out walking or camping.The information from MWIS is quite specialised, definitely more than other online weather reports. You can find out very in depth information such as the altitutde of cloud cover, freezing point, snowline and air pressure.One clever option is the ability to download a free PDF document weather forecast summary, which is perfect if you want to print off a co ...
