worst management ever at rookley country park! The holiday park itself is nice although they have removed the on site shop and replaced with a fish and chip shop with extremely limited opening, the snack bar which sold pizza, drinks and ice crea, is no longer there and there are not enough staff!!

The holiday park itself would be fine but if you make any comment however small and get to speak to one of the management in our case over the phone (the lady I believe quite surprisingly was the owner) is so unbelievably rude. She makes it quite clear that you do as she says and that is that, she like to call her customers liars and has no customer service or leadership skills whatsover.

Such a shame that a lovely park is being let down by its owner!

Rookley caravan park. I.O.W. The caravan we stayed in was very disappointing. The carpet was awful, really dirty and I had to wear my flip-flops to prevent contamination! Saying that , if they replace the flooring with lino, it would be so much better. The utensils were clean but the the cutlery tray needed cleaning. The site itself is lovely but avoid the caravans. The staff they have are lovely although there isn't enough of them and we had to wait around for simple things like bedding and a t. ...

Overall we had a great time in a bungalow at Rookley Country Park IOW butthere is work to be done! Entertainment but poor for adults-very disorganised. Pitch and Putt advertised but not available (my boys were so dissapointed). We had a hot tub (scum appeared within minutes of being in it (it had not been cleaned properly) same issue with internal spa bath (black dirt appeared when jets were turned on. The rear garden had a big dip in it and the drain was high above ground level (very dangero ...

My family and I have just returned from a week at Rookley Country Park, overall we had a really lovely holiday, the bungalow that we stayed in was 1st class, really comfortable and the staff friendly, the site really clean all around. We had a few problems in our bungalow which were sorted immediately, apart from the 2 loose steps leading up to the front door which I pointed out they would be sued for if someone fell on them (they were extremly loose) but they never came and sorted it out during ...

Stayed at Rookley County Park 1-4th May 2009 in a 3 bedroom cottage, this was lovely and spacious, quality accomodation and centrally located, it had 1 double and 2 twin rooms i en suite bathroom and 1 bathroom with a shower, we had problems with the upstairs en suite as the water pressure was low. The brochure advertised a on site shop which was closed and also it did cooked breakfasts and had a pizzeria, this had been discontinued but still advertised in their current brochure. Entertainment w ...

Had a few problems at Rookley park. When bought to staff attention they were extremely rude, unhelpful and patronising. Parking is awful, my partner is disabled and you cant park outside caraven. At least nine steps up to caravan not good for disabled people, they clearly havnt thought about this, despite telling them when booking, it fell on deaf ears. Went to clean loo on day of departure toilet brush was filthy wont go into any more detail im sure you can imagine. internet thats avaialable th ...

All - very relaxing and just great family fun - it is family run and the staff have apparently been with them for years, which speaks for itself. Done an awful lot of work if you look at old brochures - amazing!!
All in all a fantastic break and have recommended to loads of family and friends - already booked a huge party for Christmas and New Year 2009.

Couldn't believe the changes at Rookley Country Park - it is just amazing, just returned from New Year's Eve break and was staggered by the new complex and fantastic new bungalows. MUST TRY - great value. All staff lovely and helpful couldn't do enough!! Rookley Country Park is a massive investment and lovely helpful staff. The restaurant food is excellent and great value for money. Definitely going back just trying to get some time off work.

We had such a great holiday at Rookley park that we are going back there again next year - this is a first for us as we don't usually go back to the same places. It was such a friendly site and we felt very at home there, a very relaxing holiday.
