Bad Points: takes too long to generate steam and keep releasing steam long after the button is released.

General comments: The Breville IR72 is OK in light use and better than a traditional iron. It heats up quickly. But it's cheap for a reason. The main grip is that it keeps releasing steam long after you let go of the steam button. Would not buy another one of these but will keep using this unti it breaks. Doen't look like that will be too long though.

The Breville IR72 Steam Generator is simple to use and is heated up ready to go within three minutes. It irons beautifuly (cotton work shirts.) Replacable filters can add to the expense. One of the best we've had (had 4 in total over 6 years.)

It cost £79.99 but I also bought the three year Argos warranty for £13.99 as previous conventional irons only seems to last me a year or so. I like it, ironing is definitely quicker. Its ...
