Please, Buyers beware, this is what happened to us. Bought the lovely machine from one of their fancy shops, enticed also by the offer of £40.00 credit to spend when we joined "the club". Registered online with them and sure enough our £40.00 showed on our Club account. Forget about calling the boutiques as they never pick up the phone. Their excuses are we are just too busy ( doing sales) As for the customer service, there is practically none. Whatever they have promised and said are or were not in sync with their business practice. The advertisement or promotional coupons are or were so confusing that the manager of staff on site including their customer service agents are confused. Did every thing by the book, receipt, joined the club, waited and nothing. Forwarded emails continuously but customer services always found an excuse not to pay up. They also lied about ringing me and leaving a message. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Now they have said offer has expired! Just a way to make you buy. (read more)

Broke down and brought discovery box for capsules, the box had an order that went through my home. Called and explained within 5 minutes of opening the box that I had to place the shipping box, the box the discovery box was in as well as the discovery box itself on my deck. Oh, like any normal person I did wash the box. First customer rep aked that I wash it again let it dry open for 24 hrs. I purchased the 'welcome offer' (a full price selection of flavours you didn't choose) and was offered the 'discovery box' which comes with one each of the full range of flavours. Why not I thought, an additional capsule of each flavour would be a reasonable return for the initial payment of £75.50. Every time i spoke with them they basically havelied to me. Lied about when a credit was going to be put on my account. Lied about delivery dates....the customer service reps are full of attitude. What they do not tell you when you are buying a machine is that you have to order muliples of 50 capsules. So you can not have 30 of one kind and 30 of another. You either need to have 50 of each type or you do not buy that type. It basically forces you to buy more when you may ant to try other... (read more)

i prefer n/cafe gold i prefered coffee from the machine at work (beans to cup) i prefered coffee from the 'java' stall at Manchester Victoria station i cannot tell the differences from all/any of the varieties the qty dispensed is too small the cups/mugs are too small it is a bit of a rigmarole to make a half decent cup it is not easy to get a nice hot cuppa i could go on ,but i know some people like it , and i have to respect that and i liked the staff in the shops selling it . Ordered a lot of caps for Nespresso Latissima...2 day delivery..but they never arrived and now it is 1 week later. I called customer service, waited 30 minutes and then they said someone else had to call back the next day. Next day, could not get an online response and so I called again but waited 45 minutes. Hope you never have to place an order or speak to Nespresso by phone. Customer service has deteriorated in the last year from exceptional to horrible. Recently, I called to place an order and waited 30 minutes for a rep. The $100 credit offered for the new purchase of a machine is a complete scam. When I submitted for the credit with all the paperwork I got no response. After I submitted a reqeust I was told the gift receipt would not be acceptable. (read more)

I got a Nespresso machine for Christmas along with a promo where you sign up to the club and get £40 club reward. The person who bought it for me wasn't told that the receipt was needed in order to make use of this promo and no longer has it. Nespresso customer service has been dreadful, they haven't a clue and this so-called promotion is more of a scam. Actually they gave me the £40 in the end after I pleaded my case which wasn't my fault, or even the fault of the person who bought the machine for me. If retailers don't pass on the promo information properly then of course it's going to go wrong and a lot of people will be hard done by. There's nothing wrong with the machine, I'd happily recommend it but Nespresso need to rethink how they run the promotions to ensure all of their customers are treated equally, not just the ones who go to a retailer who DOES actually tell customers they need to keep the receipt to make use of the promo.

One month and five calls later to the Nespresso club, I am still waiting for the recycling to be collected. Today I was told I can put the capsules in the normal recycling—think not! Then that I can take the capsules to one of the shops—this is what I call perfect customer service—think not again... Anyone else think that Yodel will damage the Nespresso Brand? (read more)

Purchased Magimix Citiz & Milk Jan 2011. Water not coming out. Phoned customer services, told them only descaled recently, insist decale again, explained cannot decale without water flow, gave me lecture about descaling even 2/3 months. Spoken to 3 different person already in 2 days, asked me to descale yet again over the weekend before calling again. If not because I still have more than 100 capsules at home, I will not bother and bin the machine. (read more)

My fault - left it until the last minute to order coffee but hey, it usually arrives next day. Tuesday - no coffee arrives - call them and they say someone at Yodel has stolen my Parcel - this has happened before they say!!! What and you still use Yodel as a courier??? I received the nespresso coffee maker and aerochino milk heater/frother as a present last Christmas. after 6 months the aerochino, which scalds the milk every time, broke. I have now been waiting SIX WEEKS for a replacement! Five calls and promises each time one was on the way. It is now September 24th and still no machine. Nespresso say on their website that they deliver coffee and collect used capsules for recycling. They even have a system whereby you can leave specific instructions for the delivery driver. All very good if it works. The drivers (perhaps yodel which would explain it all??) never read the instructions and I have been trying for more than 2 months to get my used capsules collected. I have two Nespresso machines and they make great coffee. However Nespresso make it extremely difficult to actually buy some coffee pods to suit their machines. I can pop up to my local Harvey Norman or Good guys and buy a machine, but then i have to drive 30 or 40 km to buy coffee pods. If I buuy online I can get them in about a week, but when you're out of coffee WHAT DO YOU DO. I purchased a Citi & Milk machine about fourteen months ago and initially very happy. I used it regularly at first two or three capsules a day ( first couple of months) and then fairly irregularly a couple a week thereafter. I only used filtered water and also descaled approx three times in that period. Have a Nespresso machine now for one month. I used to buy 1-2 coffees from my local coffee shop every day. I bought my wife a Krups Nespresso machine (in post box red) and a big box of capsules for 10 different coffee types and blends. The coffee is delicious and the machine works wonderfully. I did mess around with the settings and couldn't get them back. I am glad you’ve given Nespresso, their machines and coffee the thumbs up. I have been reading all the grumbling about Nespresso/Yodel etc, but I have to agree with you, I have had nothing but a 110% service from the Nespresso Team and their delivery drivers.
If you are a cynic like me, you would take that stance that Nespresso need you to have working machines and love their coffee, as they rely on the repeat capsule sales. So, if you are not getting 100% customer satisfaction, give the club Nespresso a call (free phone- UK and Ire) and get it sorted!!

The Nespresso Club are fantastic! the best purchase I have ever made!
What can I say? the coffee is fantastic, the range of coffees they have is perfect, the machine is easy to use and redcaps etc and the service from the Nespresso club is second to none!
All of the advisors know exactly what they are talking about and I learn something new every time I call. They are also very friendly and easy to talk to. I feel right at home in the Nespresso Club! :)

The Nespresso Club is not what it used to be. The coffee is still good, but service has declined considerably. Nespresso used to provide excellent service and support with machines including an "upgrade" program to a new machine of the customer's choice. Now it is Nespresso choosing the machine (undoubtedly because the machines they choose are soon to be discontinued). Had machine for a while ,had a call out to repair only to be told the price quoted was no where near what it would be to repair .Spoke to customer service awaiting for phone call that was recorded to be accessed so to prove the orginal quoted price . I would have once rated The Nespresso Club highly but this year is a different story. Nespresso has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and not because of their coffee.
I used to love Nespresso Club but that's all changed. Things do go wrong and when companies put them right it leaves you feeling more loyal. Nespresso Club had ample chance to redeem themselves but failed at every hurdle I feel.
You know when you just can't get any rhyme or reason out of a company? I feel Nespresso Club are...

interesting..... I now have an issue with the nespresso club way of doing things too - they refuse to sell me more than 400 capsules a month. I am the only source of the capsules in nigeria, w/africa, and I can no longer get the capsules!! all I get from contacting the club is the runaround that we can't supply you, you have to use the international platform, which a. dosen't work to nigeria properrly, b. costs a fortune.

<br/>I think the club is now being innudated, and they simply can't cope with the volumes. nespresso needs to wake up and understand that now you've created a mass market, you can't keep on using the same methods as when it was a small, exclusive brand enjoyed by a few people.
