    We went to stay in Sedbergh at Thorns Hall. The welcome we got when we arrived was excellent from the leaders and all involved, Having a set tea, meeting at 1600hrs to meet all the guest was the correct way to get to know other. our leader was very knowlegeable on out door life. she had years of experience and made our walks intresting
    Evey aspect of this holiday was faultless and cant wait to book again. For walkers who have not been to H.F. holidays will not be disapointed

    3 different grades of walks, evening activities, good choice of food and drinks, very nice leaders. Free drink every night. Two things I can fault with Two things I can fault with Hf Holidays, that is when I came back from my walk one afternoon I could not get into the bath room and music too loud in the dancing room.
    Overall, so much I liked about the place that it made up for the things I did not like.

    Went on the Introduction to Falconry course at Malhamdale in October 2008. The falconer, was fantastic, as were the birds. Not many people can claim to have had a golden eagle on their wrist!Accommodation and catering excellent. Had to ask HF three times for information about course timings so that I could prebook train tickets and still didn't get a satisfactory answer about the finish time. Overall, very impressed and will go on other courses.

    The leaders were fab, communicated well and made he holiday really good fun. The group got on well. Scenery was great.The hotel staff could not have been friendlier, food was amazing, views fantastic. I would definitely recommend HF Holidays for walking in Madeira

    I highly recommend this vacation for its excellence and value. I especially enjoyed getting to know some of the British people who were also part of our group. We are American. Getting to select the level of difficulty for the walks was a very good feature.

    We have taken several family holidays at various H F houses and have found them to be excellent. Malham is our favourite closely followed by Glen Coe. To get the most out of your holiday you need to have a join in attitude. Evening activities are great fun - much better than watching T V or playing computer games. My kids are constantly asking to go again and I hope we will.
