I bought 7 personalised gift boxed handkerchiefs for my husband as a cotton wedding anniversary gif in July 2012.
I was initially impressed by the service and speed of delivery of the product - however on receiving the handkerchiefs his initials (in script font) looked like MJ as opposed to MT.
Having asked the opinion of 9 separate individuals ALL stated when asked that they said MJ as opposed to MT.

Ordered a blue silk handkerchief as a 12th anniversary gift for my husband. Delivery was fantastic, arrived in time, but once I opened the package, I was disappointed with the product. It basically looks like it has been made from one big piece of silk, cut to size and stitched to stop it coming undone. The silk handkerchiefs are very popular and are well made from 100% silk with hand stitched hems - Sorry we don't manufacture the silk hankies, we know for a fact these are the same as supplied to most of the high street stores such as Debenhams, Rackhams and John Lewis....
The embroidery font used for the initials is a matter of taste and is used on many wedding handkerchiefs.
As soon as we were contacted by this customer about the product, they were well looked after and sent a replacement item with the embroidered font style of her choice and she was happy with it.

This could be a lovely item except that the white \"beard\" is tinged with pink which spoils the whole effect. It is not cheap but is nicely made and I would have been pleased with it had the beard (which covers much of the front) been white. I contacted customer services 3 times but received no reply. All I can do is warn other customers - don't buy this stocking unless you don't mind a pink beard on Father Christmas! (read more)

The monogrammed handkerchief gift set I bought was of very poor quality. The lettering was poorly spaced and not staggered as I had requested. The cotton was pinched around the lettering and was certainly not done by a professional. The leather case was damaged and dirty inside and even after cleaning, had a grubby appearance.
The price should have indicated the quality of the product, but we all take risks, don't we. I have thrown the whole lot into the dustbin! Not worth the hassle of...

Having sold thousands of these handkerchief gift sets and having repeat customers for this very product it is viewed as being fairly priced and good quality. It is unfortunate we have received no contact email from this customer regarding their purchase to try and help satisfy.
<br/>As in our product description we can only stagger up to three initials, we cannot stagger intials with full stops between and so best layout for these is horizontally.
<br/>The nature of embroidery (small concentrated stitches) is very different to that of fabric printing which fades and washes away. We do recomend gentle ironing after washing for maintaining best appearance.

Thousands of personalised handkerchiefs have been sold in script style font with so many happy customers.
To be clear once on our returns policy of personalised items since only select lines of text have been submitted on this review,
if we make a mistake on an order or there is a fault, we happily sort it out very quickly.
If a customised product has been 'made to order' specifically as per selected when ordered then replacements are not necessary. In this case the beautifully embroidered letters in script font are fine and we showed this customer a sample of the entire Script font alphabet in which the letters T and J are very different.
Defamation of one of our hardworking employees is unacceptable and unreasonable.
