“So close...”

I was so ready to be highly impressed by Tredz. They offer a fantastic range of products and reasonable prices! However, their shipping times and communication times are absolutely unacceptable. The fact delivering is free is completely irrelevant, id happily pay a standard fee of 5-8 quid for normal 2-3 maximum shipping times. I know you have a next day option for a tenner, but not everyone can spend a bunch of cash on your stuff then an extra bloomin' tenner for the next day deliver. Ive… Read Full Review

“In stock items not in stock, poor packaging, slow delivery”

I ordered 5 items which I checked were all showing as 'In Stock' on the website. About 4 hours after I placed my order I received a phone call from Tredz saying that 1 item was not in stock and another item would have to be ordered from the suppliers which would take about a week & so may not be with you for 10 days. “shipping costs and replies”

Bought a jacket. It came too small so returned it to get one size bigger. Product was good. But despite your webpages said the returns are free, I had to pay for the return because apparently the free-returns are only with specific carriers that as far I could see only operate in the UK. I wrote to them but didn't get any reply. I tried to contact tredz via their online form but the message was some weary error message with the information that I could instead call them. This was the first time I'd used Tredz. Ordered some shorts on line. Waited in hope they Would actually reach me in the 7 day window. 10 days later still no shorts!! Rang and left a message. 4 hrs later a polite chap rang me back Detailing the order had not even been progressed ;( It was done there and then and in 3 days they arrived. But !! “Mixed bag”

Ordered a mudguard set and front light. Whilst the items arrived quickly and were well packaged, the light had clearly been used previously being sent in a plastic bag with the item itself being scratched and dirty. Returned the light but little recognition of fault and refunded only for the cost of the original item without postage. “Still waiting for the goods after over two weeks”

Best price I could find for the SKS mudguards I wanted, but ordered on 30/8/13 and still without the goods on 15/9/13, looks like I need to ring them up and chase it up. Also, using Paypal they only take the money once it's been delivered, which ruins my budgeting! “Goods are great but the delivery is shocking”

I ordered a pair of cycling shorts, which were late arriving. When they were a week overdue I emailed and got no response, which was very disappointing. I then phoned and was told that they would be sent out immediately (I have to say the guy on the phone was very apologetic and dealt with me very well), unfortunately it still took another week before the shorts arrived. We had notification from Tredz that there was a problem with our visa payment on the day that the bike was due to be delivered for my daughter's birthday at the weekend. I called my visa card and found there was no problem to make the payment. I rang back and, the payment was processed and I was then told in order to have the bike delivered for my daughter's bitrthday at the weekend I would have to pay an additional 20 punds for a Saturday delivery. Sorry this has caused you problems but our policy of not charging people until the day of despatch can on occasions cause issues if the card provider indicates there is a problem with the payment. Customer services do try as hard as possible to contact people the same day as an issue is highlighted, but if they can't get through and the card can't be processed i'm sure you will understand we can't send the consignment on the date arranged.

It was due to be delivered on the date we received an email advising us that there was a problem with payment not when it was due to be despatched. I replied within 4 hours of receiving the email, so actually it was never going to be delivered on the agreed date anyway.

Was relying on getting replacement carbon brake pads by a certain date for a race and unfortunately Tredz sent the Campag version when I had ordered Shimano, so a major fail, easy mistake to make but it was not any good to me! Sorry to be a misery, but its now been the 3rd time that I've ordered something from Tredz only to be informed after a week that the item isn't in stock. If its not in stock, be honest about it! Most other sites state that something is 'out of stock' and give a date when it will be in stock. That enables me to make an informed decision about whether or not I want to buy it. Also, it always seems to take Tredz twice as long as people like Wiggle and Chain Reaction to get stuff out to me… Read Full Review

Unlike Wiggle Tredz never give stock levels on their website. So you order... wait... and then get an email to see stock is due in 3 weeks. This order was for 4 inner tubes. The charged me for 4, but sent three. This was rectified after phoning them but pretty poor.
