Never ever buy a bike from Tredz, they lie to you about bikes being in stock, even when backed up with an email from me asking they said a week and then rang the next week after money taken to say it was out of stock and cant get any more, no alternative racing bike for me! PLEASE people don't buy a bike from Tredz, first bike I ordered and paid went through, sent me dispatch, didnt hear anything for a week, rang them and it was out of stock and couldn't get more, offered another bike and put together by their 'experts'. Headset was loose, cable for front mech was wrapped around CARBON frame and if my partner hadn't noticed would have cut it in half! Was given a small discount on another bike. About a month ago, I've ordered a set of tires, but for some reasons the parcel never got to me. Throughout this time I've exchanged emails with Tredz Customer service team. I ordered a triathlon bike from Tredz in January which was initially going to take a month to arrive. This was fine and I egarly waited for it's arrival. Unfortunatley the manufacturer (not Tredz themselves) delayed the bike by a week which extended to 2, then onto a month and finally 5 months later admitted they were unlikely to make any more. “Buying a BMX for my 7 year Old”

Tredz called a week before and arranged delivery date. They were the only company that fully assembled the bike which I needed as I was short on time. Loved the fact it came with a quality check list for the build of the bike and it came with all the reflectors and even a bell fitted (my 7 year old was bugging me for one). The web site is very user friendly, found what I wanted and had loads to choose from. I used the 6 months interest free option which was also realy useful.When entering my details to buy the bike that was also very strait forward. The correspondense was excellent with a confirmation email. The only thing missing was an expected delivery date. Was warned when I made my order there would be a 2 week wait for stock to come in and offered to change my order but I stayed with my original order. it was dispatched bang on 2 weeks after I made the order and arrived the next day so was happy with that. I have used Tredz on several occasions when it comes to bicycle stuff. They are always helpful on the phone, and orders normally arrive promptly. The only problem I have noticed is that their website is sometimes outs of date. For example, an item might be marked out of stock, but it really is in stock, and vice versa. It worth dropping them a call if you are not sure about something. (read more)

At the same time I saw the firm also would service my bike and I arranged for this to be done in Cardiff. The panniers I ordered took at little while to come into stock but I was kept to to date with the progress of the order (with actual phone calls from real people!) and when they did come in they were delivered next day. I had been looking for replacement for my much loved (but now sadly rather knackered) Basil panniers and Tredz offered the best price I found. Unlike Wiggle Tredz never give stock levels on their website. So you order... wait... and then get an email to see stock is due in 3 weeks. This order was for 4 inner tubes. The charged me for 4, but sent three. This was rectified after phoning them but pretty poor. I always order from Wiggle if I can but sometimes Wiggle don't stock what I want so have to use Tredz (read more)

I received my new bike quite quickly and was keen to take it out for a spin, however when it arrived there was a small gash in the rear tyre and inner tube and a peddle was missing. As the bike was needed for the weekend I decided to pop to my local cycle shop for replacements rather than wait for another delivery.
