Good Points: Light, portable and stable even on slightly uneven ground. Adaptable to most circular saws though the use of extra long bench mounts (Dewalt DE7030). Tough, yet flexible, thick complex section, extruded aluminium main beam. Extends to just under 5m in length to support the longest work pieces. Range of optional equipment to fit on support ends, such as; roller mounts to assist the user with, repetitive and/or long cuts. Sprung loaded indent pins make unfolding & folding the legs an absolute snip (my favourite feature). Large rubber feet. Main bracings in, powder coated, strong mild steel. Comes complete with; bolts and bench mounting brackets DE7025 "for any Dewalt saw". Fold up legs. Will hang on a wall, upright, with a home made bracket.
Bad Points: Height adjusters at support ends slip sometimes with "very heavy", long wood sections.
General comments: This DeWalt De7023 has got to be the best portable Universal Mitre Saw Stand!Saw bench comes ready to use out of the box. Mounts require fitting to saw before attachment to bench. I use it with a DW707 or a DW718. Rock solid.As this saw bench is portable, it makes a stand alone saw station; I tend to set it up in an area near to my main work, giving me the freedom and space to spread out my job's tasks without getting cluttered. All saw cuts then have a definite area to be carried out in and I find that my work is better organised as a result. There's also less chance of costly mistakes and potential accidents.Ideally suited to site work!Well done Dewalt!
