My son has just worn out his pair of Timberland 'Glo-Steps' trainers. I bought them as I always do - online and although they were not all leather, they lasted longer than any other pair of shoes he has ever had.

He also liked wearing them even when covered in mud, saying that they were his favourites - and the only way I could stop him from wearing them (even though they were a couple of sizes too small) was to 'invent' a tear in one of them - and eventually dump them!
