Good Points: 3m replaceable/detachable screw on MXE Euro-connection gun assembly. Serviceable unit with spares available. Quality build and construction. Good power range. Earth clamp is decent, as is, the removable, bayonet fitting, earth lead. Takes large gas bottles. Comes with Murex single stage regulator. Easy to use and reload wire. Adjustable spot weld timer and burn back control. Built in power Smoothing Device. Comfortable to use. good range of wire tension adjustment available with quick release and a carrier wheel natively taking 0.6, 0.8 & 1.0 mm wire thickness's. Good product finish.

Bad Points: None that I've noticed.

General comments: This Murex TradesMIG 210-1 MIG Welder is heavy and certainly needs the four wheels it sits on to transport it. It requires a single phase 16 amp power supply (round & blue 3 pin plug). Optional voltage meter available. Gul-wing door to access the wire storage compartment. 2 inch diameter spool spindle for 15kg wire baskets.Easy to set up and use. Using BOCs; Argonshield light for small to medium gauge mid steel and Stainshield Universal for 2 to 4 mm Stainless steel. Welds beautifully and consistantly. Gives that quality sizzle sound when welding (with the right variables) allowing the user to concentrate fully and improve their own ability / performance.
