“WHY CHANGE THE WAY ITS FOLDED ?”

★★★☆☆

written by on 10/06/2016

this is a fabulous treadmill. sadly I couldn't keep it as Reebok have made the new i run treadmill harder to be folded. Impossible to do !! Interested what other people have to say about this. Why make it so hard to do ? otherwise a lovely treadmill which I will buy if Reebok change the folding detail as I loved everything else about it but no good if unable to fold/unfold

“quiet”

I love this product, but mostly because its quiet! My husband always complains that my exercise equipment is too loud. this one is great because even me with my big flat feet can tread quietly without waking him up during my early morning workouts. This is a great purchase for a home gym.

“That was fantastic”

The Reebok i-Run S Treadmill is a great compact treadmill. Its unique design and up to date technology features make it popular with the younger user. However it is a basic treadmill that lacks many advanced features for the professional runner. The Reebok i-Run S is made using a 1.75hp continuous motor. The Reebok i-Run S has a top speed of 14 kph and it can hold users of up to 100kg/220lbs/16 stone.

“A Great Treadmill from Reebok”

★★★★★

written by Wendymagic on 07/12/2012

The I-Run Compact Treadmill is fantastic value for money, a great addition to my home gym. As much as I would like to run around my local town in the winter, I opted last month to purchase the I Run Treadmill instead. I absolutley love it, it is used by myself and my 3 children almost everyday, a great purchase and one that I highly recommend to everyone. The general build is very good, with easy to use controls as another reason why we love it so much. For the price we paid, it is great value for money, and should keep us fit during the Winter months. I generally only buy Reebok branded sports clothes, now I am venturing into just buying there brand for Fitness equipment as well, mainly down to the Quality and Price of course. I have also now adjusted the laminate flooring in our Gym, as the new treadmill has highlighted that the floor wasnt even in one of the corners of the room, this was another great bonus. A top product that I would recommend to anyone.

I bought this for xmas to get fit for the new year. I am delighted. I was initially walking and running outdoors but suffered wet weather! I am dissapointed that i can not use the pre set control panel. Only use it manually. The instructions are horrendous, or is it me?? A big problem i have is when i set the treadmill up it was pre set to miles. Since it was unplugged it has now gone to km. I've read other reviews on how to change this but for the life of me cannot find the switch on the circut board. Am i being thick! There isn't any indication where this could be. please help as it is not the same as miles!!!

I rate this little machine highly, for the price the build quality is good, the display is basic but covers everything you need, the documentation is terrble, Reebox really need to work on this. The display can be changed from Km to miles by removing the 4 screws at the back of the control panel and lifting the fron display off, a switch is visible on the circuit board and is identified as miles and Km, just simply change to the required setting. I have read a number of complaints about the angle of the display, this can be adjusted at the same time, once the screen is removed slacken the four screws which secure the display to the support bar and adjust the angle, then simply retighten the screws. Remeber to lubricate the belt and adjust the tension at least every 6 months, again this is not metioned in the manual but is simple and an email to Reebok from their web site will get a prompt response with the instructions on how to do it, why did they not supply this in the handbook, over all I am well pleased with mine which is now 2 years old and works a dream, it is not noisy as some reviewers on other sites have reported and I think it is great value for the price you can obtain it at.

“I absolutely adore my Reebok I-Run!! ”

I absolutely adore my Reebok I-Run!!

I am not a hardcore runner, but having the i run does help me avoid running in the rain or queing at the gym for a treadmill!
Very robust for its price. It gives you a smooth run, it is pretty quiet and has a clear console that is not too fiddly.
The i run can be folded up to a compact size and is easy to manouver around the house. The colour is a bit more interesting than the usual steel colour and I am seriously thinking of getting the reebok i train as I am so pleased with my i run!

“This is a review of the Reebok I-Run Compact Treadmill.”

★★★★☆

written by paulbeard on 12/09/2008

This is a review of the Reebok I-Run Compact Treadmill.
I jog on the road most of the time but moved out into the country this year and while its great in the daytime the roads round here are a bit too narrow and a bit too dark to run on after work - so I wanted a treadmill for these occasions & when its just too foul outside.

Before buying a treadmill I ummed and aahed for a while on whether to invest a lot of money in a full featured treadmill or go basic and see if I actually use the thing. In the end I picked up a 2nd hand older I-Run model from ebay and I have to say I'm very happy with the choice. the model I bought does not have the black plastic grab handels and has different controls to the I-Run +, but seems to be similar in features.

Space is not at a premium for us but I very much appreciate how tidy the I-Run is when folded - and more importantly how quick & easy it is to set up and put away. If you are limited for space this treadmill will be hard to beat - although it is heavy for one person to move around a room (no problem to set on your own though).

The controls are basic but easy to understand - I didn't get a manual but 2 mins of fiddling worked them out. To be honest the preset programmes aren't that useful, being fixed at 15mins, 30 mins & 45 respectively. The 15 & 30 min programmes gradually build up speed then ease off at the end, whereas the 45 min does then same & then mixes in regular speed intervals. However you can ignore these pre sets and using the manual programme quickly set a target time, target distance or target calories. Or even easier: just press start, dial in the speed you want & stop when you've had enough! Simple.

The buttons are easy to use on the run and the display is nice & clear. It always shows distance, speed, calories & pulse. In fact the pulse sensors on the safety bar is the only thing that doesn't seem to be working - but then this is a second hand machine and I have a chest strap & watch that is an overall better tool for heartrate monitoring.

Finally, when you are running (read jogging for me) the I-Run feels like a well built piece of kit. I'm no light-weight at 16 stone but it feels solid underneath me.

Overall this is a good, basic, quality, well designed choice. In the future I may want a treadmill with a power incline and a large range of challenging programmes but for the time being this fits the bill and seems to be value for money. Reccomended.
