    Good Points: Nice stylish shape, simple and tidy presentation, good build quality, fair sound quality, flexible alarm options, display automatically dims in dark, low power-consumption.


    Bad Points: Set-up problems experienced, no DAB stations picked up (but likely to be reception problem in the area), no trace of bass in sound, alarm tricky to set.


    General comments: Overall, the Pure VL-60872 Siesta is a nice clock-radio with some useful features but, considering its price, is let down by an unremarkable sound, poor ease-of-use of alarm settings and a fairly basic 'look and feel'. For most people, it will do a perfectly adequate job, but I can't help feeling it is over-priced at £40- £50.
