We used the Woodfordes micro brewery system i.e. the whole kit.Purchased from the home brew shop in Worthing, they also are very helpful.
It retails between £70 and £60 which may sound pricey, but all the equipment and materials are there to make 40 pints and all of the equipment is re-usable.
The kit comes with woodfordes own wherry kit that makes a pleasant real ale, but most suppliers allow you to change the packs inside for a different one more suited to your taste.
