I'v recently taken my uggs back to the shop I bought them from sole Trafford Center Manchester uk as the inside of the sole was disintegrating and the foot was leaking water even though they were water proof I'm more disappointed that I got them for Christmas Day of my partner he paid £239.99 for them and I'v now been told that I cnt have a refund until they have been inspected I think this is discussing I will not be buying a new pair if and when I get a refund!!! I've had loads of pairs of fake Uggs in my time but, after giving birth to our first born, my husband recently bought me a pair of the real McCoys! When he gave the boots I was fully of excitement (albeit I was very very tired!). I purchased these "Bondi Ugg" which stated they were 100% merino wool for $105, Yes they are a great price compared to what I have seen in stores! Bought my wife a pair of genuine Ugg boots costing around £150, after she moaned that her non ugg ones only lasted a few years. I've got to say they felt very cheap, certainly not £150 worth of boot. The sole feels about as sturdy as a flip flop! My fears proved right when the back of the boot split after about 30 minutes on the first day she wore them. I bought a pair of fake uggs boots from www.shoes-gifts.com. They were trading as a UK company but when i payed for the boots I then realised the company was in malaysia. This site guaranteed 100% authantisity and satisfaction. I had neither. I sent the boots back and am still trying to get my refund from them. I agree!! I bought a pair of short, black, leather UGGS ( inc leather laces iff anyone needs a description.(£165) I loved them until I stepped in the smallest puddle!!both feet..toes soaked because the water went straight through the stitching I might have expected it from suede. Although politel..John Lewis, where I got them from said they were fashion items - I cant expect dryness too!! REALLY disappointed with my so - called investment boot - I will stick to Clarkes of similar nexttime.

The quality so far is extremely good and they are so comfortable I love them. At first. I have bought some ugg boots from a site called BOOTSLOVE.CO.UK They are trading as a UK company when in actual fact the boots are coming in from China. I would discourage anyone from buyng from this site. They are very poor quality and you can tell they are fakes. I have been emailing the company for over two weeks now for a refund and they are just fobbing me off. They say they are an outlet store but are clearly not. I have lost £136.25. all genuine uggs are made in china since DECKER corp went there separate ways the actual owner ofthe logo moved his manufacturing to China.
If you receive ugg boots that say made in Australia or new zealnd on the label inside then they are the fakes im afraid

Poor quality and a non existent customer service. I love my Uggs, they are warm dry and comfortable. I had a problem with one of my pairs of boots and the company was excellent to deal with. The woman I dealt with on the phone was very understanding and passed my info onto the office and I heard from them within 24 hours. Once I sent the pictures and they could see the problem they let me order another pair. They covered all the costs of the boots and shipping, no extra costs to me. I was gifted a pair of Ugg boots and only wore them literally on a handful of occasions when the bottom part of the boot came away from the actual boot. You could fit your hand through the gap! I emailed Uggs on several occasions asking for some form of compensation/a new pair of boots as the quality was obviously minimum in the pair I had but no response was ever received!! I bought a pair of UGGs and in less than a year the sole of the shoe started tearing from the shoe itself. When I called the manufacturer they said there is absolutely nothing they can do about this. For shoes that cost over 200 GBP, I don't think this is acceptable customer service. I would never buy a pair of UGGs again and do not recommend these. im sorry but its right the deckers corporation had a fallen out many years ago so they sepearted in to 2 companies and the genuine original uggs are made in china if you read up about deckers it will confirm everything only one half of the company was entitled to keep the logo and name etc and they are the ones who have now manufacture in china the genuine ones

I brought from Uggbootsdiscounter.com, another one to stear clear of for Uggs. They arrived on time and looked fine. My niece wore them for an hour on Xmas evening indoors and the stitching has come undone and the Button fallen off.
Uggbootsdiscounter said they would refund £15 so I can get them fixed, but the repairer said you will see it has been repaired and it will cost £25. So now my choices according to Uggbootdiscounters are to pay £20 to send them back and £9 to get them...

They seems to be located in China or Singapore, all correspondence is with someone with a poor grasp of the English language. Hey i ordered a pair on uggs4all also just before x mas but i ordered the chestnut classic tall ugg boots and we were sent dark brown tall uggs with the label saying made in australia, i tried e mailing them about ten times and still no reply, really disappointed in the service, stuck with the wrong boots and with no way to get my money back.

I actually ordered these on the 16th December after a friend at work said this was a genuine website for ugg bootS, and got them 14th Jan 2011. Basically, I find that there is not much difference in both the boots, with the exception of the sole. The EMU currently is offering FREE International Shipping in most sites, some even without tax. But once you have put them on you can't go back to your odl boots. At least I couldn't. They are warm and very comfy and look really cool. I got the the Women's Roslynn model in chestnut colour. I contacted them after ordering a pair and then finding out when hitting the tracking number into DHL that they were coming from China. Defo fake, stitching falling apart, no box, no cardboard inserts, totally shabby. I am now fighting to get my money back.
