“Had the fat fryer for about three months, makes great...”

Had the fat fryer for about three months, makes great chips, have used it about 12-15 times,as you can only put small amount (for about 3 people at once)of chips at a time.
Last night, in the middle of making a batch of chips, the handle collapsed, managed to get basket out with great difficulty, but not burning myself, lifted it into a colander when handle snapped off completely.
Was not chuffed, glad I was an experienced cook. Could have caused a nasty accident. I am not Happy! On cleaning... (read more)

“After only 2 uses, the pin holding the rise/fall...”

After only 2 uses, the pin holding the rise/fall basket dropped out. It turns out the plastic pin mounting on the handle had snapped. Also, I would have expected the bowl to be removable for cleaning. (read more)
