Good Points: Well tempered and cut for machine made files.
Bad Points: Handles look and feel cheap. Tangs are left rough and require re-finishing to fit decent handles.Need to be supplied with a protective sheath as standard.
General comments: It has taken me over a year to find a company that could supply a good range of Bahco files here in the UK, as it would seem that, Bahco struggle building a strong presence here. Their catalogue is extensive but distributors carrying a large range are hard to find (PVR Direct - recommended). A lot of Bahco's experience in this area has been acquired from old companies such as Oberg and as such probably represents one of the best mass produced file companies to date.In the bastard cut series I have the; flat, half-round, round, square and three-square all in; 6", 8", 10" and 12" sizes. Apart from the handle and tang issues these are reasonably good files being cheap enough to be easily replaceable when dulled by use on hard materials.
