We have had 2 kids before and decided to buy brand new Buggy so would think we had some experience of what you need from a buggy but The I Candy Cherry is really style over substance! very very disappointed. The problems with this buggy is all the below: After only 6 months of use the wheel has fallen off! Raincover has to either be put on fully or taken completely off which with the UK weather is not helpful, ideally you want to be ale to fold raincover back without it blowing/falling off. The shopping bag is useless when using the carry cot as you need to take shopping out of you carrier bag to be able to squeeze it in-between the small gap, its better in pushchair mode but not much. Also as you need to keep putting the raincover in the shopping bag as it keeps falling off when not in full use, you have even less space to put your shopping in! The other infuriating thing is when sold by a well know department store they forgot to say that your nappy bag should be stored in the shopping bag as the chassis is so light, so where are you meant to put your shopping? The other irritating thing is trying to change the seat position its very hard to press the inside buttons. All in all I would never recommend this to anyone, its been designed by a company who has not even bothered to ask parents what they really need from a practical buggy.

We brought the iCandy cherry for our first and the wheel broke. Although they changed the design probably due to the design fault we were just out of warranty so were charged for the new axle and wheels. The new wheels have fallen of twice. The last time was in the centre of town with loads of Christmas shopping – you can imagine. Instead of sending new wheels we have to send the entire push chair back to them first. Avoid this brand and manufacturer!

We have been using our iCandy cherry for 10 months now and we are thoroughly cheesed off with it and iCandy. In principle it is a great system. Unfortunately it is built so badly it just hasn't stood the test of time.
The first set of rear wheels and the rear axle wore out in about 4 months. The pushchair was sent back to iCandy, it took 4 weeks for them to decide to replace the wheels & axle.
The second set of wheels and rear axle have now worn out. The wheels no longer fit on the axle properly. They sit at an angle and wont engage with the brake mechanism.
Our retailer has sent the pushchair back to iCandy.
We have had a response telling us that we have misused the pushchair, it will cost £70 to repair plus £30 P&P.
We have never misused the pushchair. It has never been off pavements or roads, we have a three wheeler for that. It has never been overloaded, my daughter is only 10 months old, and she is not obese!

We purchased the Icandy Cherry last year after much deliberation and were initially very pleased with it. However, after only 6 months use we now find that the pushchair has two major faults. The front wheels do not turn properly which makes steering very difficult and the pushchair no longer stays in an upright position. It actually collapses backwards (with our son in the seat) as the mechanism for holding the chair in place no longer works. Looking at reviews on the internet this appears to be a manufacturing fault but because we purchased it new from an private individual we have no recourse.
We now consider the Cherry to be unsafe and definitely not worth the money.

The ICANDY Cherry stroller that I purchased in Aug 2008 has had 2 major faults. In Feb 2008 the back wheels caved in - the chassis couldn't be parted from the main push chair so an attempt at a repair was made. In May 2008 the front wheel casing broke and I candy are trying to charge me for the repair and even £25 to return the unrepaired stroller back to me. I have found them most unhelpful and am glaad to see that I am not the only comsumer experiencing this type of fault with the product as ICANDY are trying to say that I have misused the stroller.

Poor quality dangerous product. Just the sheer amount of bad reviews to be found online speaks for itself! We have had 3 chassis in 12 months due to wheels falling off. Now we have a seat unit that drops backwards constantly. iCandy are refusing to deal with this complaint and have charged us £45 for a new seat frame even thougth this is a common fault. A rude company that really do not care about providing any aftersales service for a substandard product.

This pram system has been nothing but trouble for me.
For the first few months of using it, I felt it was like pushing a supermarket trolley with a mind of its own. I persevered with it for too long and nearly tipped the baby out of the pram. It came to a head when the wheel dropped off! At great inconvenience the chassis was replaced and now the seat unit doesn't fit onto the chassis properly! It is so inconvenient doing without a pram while they fix the problem! A friend of mine who bought this pram also has had exactly the same problem. The staff at iCandy, whenever I have dealt with them, unfortunately seem very unhelpful and sometimes rude to me.

I thought the chassis of the iCandy Cherry seemed dangerous and useless - wheel fell off whilst in car seat mode and nearly toppled over with baby in it - experienced extremely poor aftersales care - wheels now stick and go from straight to swivel mode by themselves whilst buggy falls into middle position by itself also.

I experienced four faults with the iCandy Cherry in the first 6 months - the first pram I received was broken. . .followed by wheels getting stuck and falling off. I tried to get my money back, but iCandy seemed unprepared to accept any responsibility. I wish I had spent the extra money and bought a Bugaboo. I would not recommend this pram to anyone.
