This is truely an awful boiler. Have had nothing but trouble with it since it has been installed. It is the common problem of the pressure vessel that seems to be a regular theme on this thread. Baxi have produced an unreliable boiler that costs a fortune to put right time and again. For the money, there are much better boilers on the market. Avoid this one at all costs.

Had this boiler fitted approx 2004, worked fine for the first 12 months and then one problem after another. Diverter vale replaced, two fans replaced, Heat exchanger, too many other parts to remember. Boiler broken down at least 6 times in past 4 years, cost of parts alone almost £300. (Fortunately a qualified mate fits for free). As soon as I can afford it I'm having a new boiler but will never buy Baxi again.

I have given the Baxi 105e Instant a one star rating because the website doesn't appear to let me give it no stars.

Funny how the 5* ratings are all guest reviewers. A blatant attempt by the manufacturer or their cronies to boost the ratings of an abysmal product.

I have had the Baxi Instant 105e for 6 years and every year a different part of it has broken down. The interesting thing is the reaction of engineers when they come out to repair it. They tell me that the Instant 105e is a legend in ...

Had the boiler fitted in 2007, never had a problem with it.
It does exactly what it says on the tin!

I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good relible boiler.

I have had my baxi for 3 years and it has never gone wrong as a gas safe registered engineer i deal with these boilers on a daily basis and though there are some common faults i have found that a lot of less experienced engineers throw parts at them without finding the real fault. Baxi have never made a bad boiler! try having a ferroli or biasi or worse a ravenheat and then you will know what a poor boiler is. If you look after your boiler by keeping the system clean and having it serviced regul ...

The Baxi 105 HE is most probably the best boiler ever made. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beaut of a boiler.

The Baxi 105HE Instant Combi Boiler is a hopeless piece of kit. The PCB on mine has gone after not long installed. The whole thing is poorly designed and the parts are badly made.
The (non-Baxi) engineer who has bene called to mine thinks that they are junk as well; plus Baxi are a useless mob to deal with.
What's worse is that spares are not readily available, which is a real downside in a boiler that goes wrong so often.

I would not recommend the Baxi Combi Instant 105e boiler to anyone. I had the first one installed in Oct 2002 by a Corgi registered engineer. In Feb 2003 it started making a high pitched ringing noise when the hot water tap was turned on. Baxi said the wrong type of o-rings had been installed on a batch of boilers when they were manufactured and they replaced them. In March 2004 the expansion vessel had to be replaced. Dec 2004 the fan had to be replaced. March 2005 the expansion vessel ha ...

The Baxi 105HE Instant Combi Boiler has been a nightmare from just after the 12 months guarantee finished. The 'instant' part packed in which I could cope without. Something to do with the circuit board. Baxi too expensive to call out, but serviced by Corgi engineer. Then, divertor valves needed replacing, continually losing pressure requiring topping up. Baxi are blaming the problems on the way it was installed, which doesn't really add up given the thorough nature of the installation records, ...
