Just bought an Air Arms pro sport today from Mendip shooting ground in Somerset and also bought a Hawke Map6 pro 4-16x50 scope to go with it. These are on offer at the mo from Mendip shooting at only £55.00!!! Why? I can't find a similar deal on the internet. I was a little put off by the cheap price and was trying to talk the shop owner into flogging me a more expensive scope but he said that I would not go wrong with the Hawke.

I have only put 50 or so pellets through the air arms on the range today but am chuffed with the rifle and scope. The build quality of the scope is nice, very clear optics and good focus. Frontal adjustment gives range finding capability and allows you to tweak to attain a clear shot. Not had chance to test the reticule marks over various ranges but for £55.00! I can't go wrong! Still pretty clear at 16x zoom but think that I will use around 12 for most distance shooting.
