Good Points: All and of above then some with the connection for internet. After you're done been through the new and the old. You come back to this game. Even the 360 pulls out during the start but falls short in the end with its problems.

Bad Points: More all, I would say the controllers but still it's holding its own.

General comments: If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. And new or the latest is not always the greatest.

Having previously owned a PS1 and PS2 for some time it was only after I had played the Xbox for a year that I realized how lacklustre the PS2 was.
Having managed several major US video game retail stores for many years, I was in the habit of having people ask me if I repaired Sony PS2's.
When responding no, I automatically suggested that they purchase an Xbox because the defective Xbox return rate was a fraction of PS2's.
Upon recommending the more reliable system, I pointed out that for the ...

The Microsoft Xbox has been recently outdated by the 360, but it is still a great console to buy if you're looking for an amazing gaming system.

The internal hard drive is superior to memory cards, and it can hold more than you could ever want, including music. The Xbox's Ethernet port provides the option to link consoles together or connect to the internet for Xbox live. Games for the Xbox have superb graphics, and there are thousands to choose from.

If you can find one for a decent p ...

I chose to get the Microsoft Xbox gaming system mostly because of the best in class graphics. Although the game selection was less than competitive at first, the Xbox has surpassed both the PS2 and Nintendo's attempt at a game system, the Gamecube. The Xbox Live feature is probably the best online system that has been released to date. The next generation will surely follow its predecessors footsteps and also be a great buy.

I used to be a PS2 lover until I got my Xbox. I won it at school and I thought I was the luckiest person alive.

First of all games are outstanding for the Xbox. HALO AND HALO 2 rock, Half Life, Need for Speed, Doom series, and GTA is on the Xbox now.

The Microsoft XBox is a very powerful console, but it is large; the games are more expensive than PlayStation 2 games, and the choice just isn't as good. The music feature is good as you can use it as a jukebox on your television! (note: to get visualisations, press X, Y, X quickly on the track menu). It is very fast though, but it isn't portable enough to be able to take it to a mates house.

Microsoft Xbox is the better out of the three games consoles of it's generation. The graphics are better and it doesn't crash as much as the Playstation 2 (from experience) it has some great games and many are exclusive to the Xbox so this means they are purpose built for it and are alot better. There aren't any games for the PS2 that are exclusive that I can think of. The Grand Theft Auto games were exclusive until they then came out on the xbox which was good. The online play is a lot quicker ...

I owned the PS2 and the X box. I ended up trading my PS2 in for an X box. The PS2 was a good system but it didn't seem to be built solid enough for me. The PS2 slim got very hot when played which was not a good sign for me. To me, that much heat being given off is not a good thing and could lead to a problem down the road.

The X box on the other hand is a powerhouse (basically a computer in a box). Games load quicker and the graphics are actually better than that of the PS2. I truly b ...

Xbox is the most powerful of the 3 consoles. Some brilliant games like Halo and Halo 2. If people liked GTA: San Andreas on PS2, that's coming out on Xbox. Although not a lot of games, this is still a console worth buying. In my opinion, better than PS2 but not as good as Cube.

As of now the Microsoft Xbox is the most powerful gaming console you can purchase. The graphics are unmatched, the ability to hook to surround sound is leading edge, the built in ethernet port and access to Xbox Live are revolutionary, and there are a huge selection of games.

The built in hard-drive allows for developers to create more massive worlds, allows you to listen to music that you download to the harddrive, and is a place to download essential extras such as downloadable extras from ...

Microsoft Xbox is The Best. I dont understand some of you people rambling on about this Console not having enough games. Have you wacked up people ever heard of Dead or Alive 3? Or Brute Force? There are some good games. And if you look hard, you would comtinue to find games that make getting the Microsoft Xbox Console totally worth it. I think the Xbox is the best thing since sliced bread.^_^ Peace people, and get an Xbox, you wont be sorry!

The Microsoft Xbox changed my life forever!! See, It was like this - My sister was getting a divorce. And.. Well - to cut a long story short: It turned my drab grey world into colours & vibrant sounds. I was bored being a sad `Nintendo fanboy` before, I needed something special in my life & then along came XBOX. It really rocked my world! If you buy the Xbox- maybe it`ll rock yours to! No more furry animals, or silly Mario when you got the Master Chief on your side! No sireee. I want to support ...

The Microsoft Xbox was just a mistake. They shouldn't have made it. There aren't very many good games for this. Practically none of their games are exculsive to the Microsoft, besides for the Halo Games. Those weren't that good anyway. You get bored of them so easily. Every X-Box I have ever had broke down real quick. Overall, this system is the worst. I say that they should get rid of the whole system all together. Bye Bye X-box is what should happen.

The Xbox was Microsoft's first foray into the console market, probably prompted by Sony's undoubted success in an industry it had no right to dominate. Microsoft, the biggest name in computer software since the dawn of time, must've been pretty annoyed that a company formerly renowned for the top loading video and the walkman were raking in billions of dollars off the back of a canned Snes add-on (PlayStation). After the spectacular disaster that was the Dreamcast (a console that was powered by ...

I have a Gamecube, GBA , GBA SP, PC, PS2, and Xbox. I think the X-Box is the best because the GBA/SP are going to stop selling because
    A) Nintendo DS is coming out which looks amazing.
    B) Gameplay is rubbish and so are the graphics.

Gamecube are having a problem releasing products now they only release games that are on all consoles eg. Fifa, Tak staff of dreams etc, they haven't released many games of their own recently so people would much rather play Fifa on a more powerful console eg ...

The games on the Microsoft Xbox suck. An Xbox is just a mix between a computer and PS2. I could take my PS2 lay it flat put an Xbox over it and I could say I have an Xbox. I could take my computer put a Xbox sign on it and say I have an Xbox. I have a friend who was playing his Xbox and it blew up on him after 1 hour of play. Sure the explosion must have been cool but is it worth 150-200 dollars? Come on what are the differences between a PS2 and XBOX. PS2 came first so Xbox must have copied. Th ...

The Microsoft Xbox is one of the very best game consoles there is. You can play games, watch DVDs, dowload music on it, and even play online with your friends. If you look at the Xbox controller you may think that it has way too many buttons and would be to complicated but after you play it once or twice you're not even looking at the controler and you know where every button is. The Xbox has a ton of games. It has more memory than any other system I think. You have two memory card slots in each ...
