Had a Nikko Stirling, £45. and must say it was almost bearable, but disappointing as far as the optics and that i had to get my eye in within just a few mm's. So upgraded slightly to the Bushnell Trophy £80. and oh what a difference! Optically very good Clarity fantastic. Adjustment of the scope is very user friendly without the need of a screwdriver! Brilliant! And there is a lot more room for maneuver without losing view. zoom and focus very smooth and easy unlike the Nikko. One point is i do need to shim this as I am shooting very slightly high with the adjustment almost at full downward adjustment. Of course this is still a budget Scope but then again I haven't even looked through anything but 'budget' scopes. So if you buy a gun and dont know what you want in the way of a scope, be careful not to go too 'cheap'! Cheers and happy sniping ;-)
