I had high expectations for this movie after seeing the trailer. It looked great; zombies, soldiers, forgotten Nazi bunkers... what more could you ask for? Quite a bit more actually.
The movie starts out actually ok. The story line begins with the hiring of a handful of mercenaries, (stereotyped of course).
I won't divulge too much plot line, but basically these mercenaries get attacked by the Zombies in various different ways.
The story line is weak. Lots of holes in the plot, and lots of questions unanswered. Strengths of the movie would probably be the zombies. They looked pretty good, and a few shock scenes to keep you interested.
Other than that, it's not a long movie so you don't feel like you've wasted too much time by watching it. Maybe with a bit more budget, and a slightly better (or should I say finished off properly) story, Outpost would have potential.

Outpost is a crap film, a total let-down; zero originality, no tension, ludicrous "zombies", who couldnt scare a herd of scaredy cats.
Lots of shouting and unconvincing edginess between the stereotype mercenaries aka tough leader, cowtrustworthy russian, bully brit para.rd , congolese, mad marine, unrn- Read Guest's review (45 words)

Outpost is not as good as Dog Soldiers for a UK solider horror flick the film delivers on a few levels. Quite good introduction and I thought the zombies were quite good... but there's quite a few problems that i think were budget related. The zombie dead can suddenly materialise in sealed rooms and kill like ninja assassins on speed but near the end they kinda stumble and wander around something out of a Micheal jackson thriller scene. Thus, when you had a nasty killer in the dark and then a R ...- Read travelboy's review (130 words)
