    I cannot recommend Mad Men highly enough. With all the dross that is on TV I can't understand why not that many people seem to watch it. Must be something to do with the scheduling, which can be overcome with your SkyPlus. Mad Men is set in a New York ad agency in the early 60's. It looks pays great attention to period detail and generally looks fantastic. Bit cosmetic you say? Not at all. The acting and storylines are great. It is possible to completely lose your self in this programme and it is a big jolt to find your self back in the present when it finishes.
