I bought this printer as I thought it would be a better option to upgrade to a newer version rather than spend money having my old HP3500 serviced. What a mistake that was. It gollops toner at an unbelievably fast rate and I then found out it was incompatible with my Greeting Card Factory 7 programme which is my main printing purpose. Despite weeks of to-ing and fro-ing with HP there was no resolution to the problem. In the end I had to cut my losses and buy another 2nd hand HP3500. It would have saved me a lot of frustration and money had I known beforehand that it was not compatible with my software and think this should be made clear in their advertising.

The HP Laserjet P1505 is very Noisy and emits a cloud of toner dust fro every page that prints. Second printer, sent first one because of dust problem, second one exactly the same. Worried that dust may be carcinogenic, printer is right next to me on my desk.

Generally a good printer, but if you are at all concerned with the air quality in your work area, then you shouldn't look too closely at this model.
