I feel I was misold to by ems. Told me it was to renew website but what somehow ended up paying for was a control panel i didnt need. Then tried to sell me control panel again and wouldn't take no for an answer. I still didnt want it after a 50% discount. I then ignored my phone when i saw their number. They then call from a mobile number which i answer and the chap asks me again! Then another call from a witheld number and its another person trying to get money off me. Beware of their sales... I was extremely disappointed with this company, paid for a 3 page website then told to be on the first page of Google I needed a 10 page site. Paid over £ 1000 which only ever reached page 10, the site was never optimised even though they promised that it would be. No rushing you whilst on the phone they gave me the feeling that they really cared about my mobi site. The site works well with my main web site. We started a project with EMS which started in July 2011 for a website and 2 mobile app's. I can hand on heart say that the entire process has been a complete nightmare once we made our payment. A simple website with pre made plugins took over 8 months to complete and increased in costs by £1000. I have two websites built with EMS and have nothing but praise for them, my IT skills are sketchy and sometimes I've had problems with passwords or updating my sites but always the customer care team are absolutely fantastic and helpful. Originally had a website built in 2008, initial major delays but after several phonecalls it eventually went live. It worked well so with other ideas i had them build 2 more websites. This is where the wheels fell off. In total the 2 additional websites cost an approximate £2000 + vat. EMS cold called me and were very pleasant,then after I bought a website the pressure began.They rang me and told me if I did not have my website hosted by EMS immediately it would cost me double in the future.After I signed up for this I then discovered that nearly £500 for google indexing is very expensive. I have been trying to get a refund but it's impossibe.I was very rudely spoken to by customer services. Avoid this company at all costs. (read more)
