It'll always remain my favorite movie of all time. The concept is so fresh & original, although based on a book. The visual effects, which were groundbreaking in its time, still, stand out even to this day. Chricton's story, Spielberg's direction, Winston's animatronic dinosaurs, ILM's VFX, and William's unbeatable music score give it an epic movie status. Sam Neil, Richard Attenborough, Laura Dern & Jeff Goldblum create unforgettable characters. And lastly, the Dinosaurs themselves are the most timeless characters ever. It's mesmerizing, gripping, edge of the seat thriller, and an adventure a 65million years in the making. The moviemakers really spared no expense.

During the 90's, this was obviously the most sophisticated portrayal of dinosaurs at the time, and it doesn't seem to age a bit.
Even though it was adapted from a book, this unique story was destined to become an incredible film. Great casting, decent acting, great special effects!
The film marked yet another milestone in special effects in cinema, and most importantly, it's just pure entertainment.
I'll be surprised if you haven't seen it already... it's a classic!
