We have real good fortune and find a room in the Lodge of our choice (1.Wahl!!!). Shortly before us, someone checked out and came shortly after us someone, have wanted that the room also . for the first time good fortune with the hotels!! The Lodge is simply perfect: Situation in the middle of of rice fields (and nevertheless not far to the center); view of lake and mountains of our porch from; of the nice family even cooked Nepali supper (dhal baat 1euro) if one wants price/night: ... basic, maar net. Propere warme douches, mooie rustige tuin met zicht op het meer. Heel vriendelijke mensen. (read more)

This place is welcoming at any time of day (or night) as we found out arriving at 3am. If your traveling on a budget this comes highly recommended. Not a place to come if luxury objects are required for your stay as it is basic but this adds to the feel of the chilled out are it's situated in. (read more)

Stayed in April 2008 at the Banana Garden Lodge. Popular, cheap and one of the best place to live and stay in lakeside Pokhara, Nepal. www.bglodge.cjb.net. I would recommend but would say that the accommodation is average. (read more)
