I am delighted with our extension. Friends 'in the know' have commented on the high quality of the construction materials and it is indeed a sturdy structure. Apropos worked well with my builders and together produced a wonderful, airy room. All contact I had with Apropos was corteous and helpful.

We were doubtful whether to proceed with the project because the first architect we approached told us the biggest problem we would have would be the various builders, electricians etc to liaise so that we would not be without a kitchen for longer than necessary. Apropos came on the day they said, did the installation speedily and thoroughly and I ended up with a dream kitchen which is now the hub of the house.

We wanted something different to create a living space full of light with a contemporary appearance. The Apropos designer exceeded our expectations on this front, and working with a builder arrived at a price within our budget(We did think the design would not be affordable!)

The only downside was that the builder told us he had to chase to get some Building regulation information, but he seemed to moan about everything from the weather to the Builders Merchants to the chaps who worked for him! ...

I have to say how surprised I was about the poor reviews and I felt that I should say how my purchase went. Apropos were fantastic in coming up with a bespoke design for our top floor conservatory. They took on a seemingly impossible task and came up with a workable soloution. They then looked after the planning saving us having to employ an architect, saving huge expense to ourselves. Their recommended builder provided an excellent finish and also worked with us to further improve the bespoke d ...

Why did I not know about this great website before I placed a £40K order with Apropos? Their pitch, design and hype convinced us they could easily tackle the task of creating a bespoke glass structure linking our house with a listed adjacent barn. However, they use sub-contractors to install and they botched the job - leaving us with a wet room rather than a water-tight structure. Try contacting them and you'll be passed from department to department, given a variety of excuses and left w ...

I agree, this is simply a case of Apropos Tectonic Conservatories believing their own hype. We had a 'structure' (they are far to up themselves to call it a conservatory!) installed last year.
When I say last year, that was when they finished it. They started it the year before and it took them this long to finish it - and it still leaks around the doors!
Once the salesman had done his thing - which he was very good at - and the order passed to other departments of the company, thats when the ...

Although the product looks good they are severely let down by the quality of the fitting and customer care. For my extension (a relatively simple lean too) they required all preparatory building work to have been completed before they would come and measure up. There was then an 8 week wait for delivery so factor this 2 month delay should've been factored into our schedule. They then require almost complete payment before delivery. After the extension was installed the fitters needed to return o ...

I have written to Apropos Tectonic Conservatories to complain about their reccomended builder, 'phoned on numerous occasions, and so far have not had the courtesy of a reply from my letter to their CEO! Both my husband and I have Parkinsons Disease and we wanted a really stylish garden room to complement the bungalow to which we were downsizing and on which we have spent a great deal of money and effort. We feel Apropos tectonic have let us down badly, all payment to them has to be 'in advance' ...

Where do I start? 20 months ago and after much research we decided on Apropos Tectonic Conservatories to build our lean to conservatory. They came up with the best options and designs and fully understood our brief. That was the last time anything good happened for us with this company. The started 2 weeks late which was not too much of a problem, but all the elements that made up the conservatory arrived on time and were dumped on out garden. All elements well packed and labelled, it looked lik ...
