    Good Points: Always Rode a Hard tail, never again! The jeckel Has The best ride and feel Ive ever felt. Im 28 And have ridden forever. Im Not rich, for the money You Cant Beat This Bike. Stong, Light, and handles like nobodys Business. LOVE THIS BIKE!!!


    Bad Points: Their Are a few things that i would upgrade. It Came with an AXEL fork, it works OK but I would Love a Better one, perhaps a Fox or Rock Shok. And Also TheFront And Rear Derailurs, they work But this Bike Deserves Better. I Changed the wheels To Xt w/ Mavic rims To me it roles Faster And Cleaner. It Also needs disk Not Canti. breakes ive seen them w/ them Make sure you Get them.


    General comments: For the money You can probaly Get better but what i wanted was Strength and quality,(made in USA) I got one of the last ones Made here, i Dont know if they even make them anymore, but i dont care buy a used one and rebuild it, i love this bike, And when people see me on it they always tell methat its the best thing they ever saw. thanks

    The Cannondale Jekyll 500 Mountain Bikes RRP is set at £1299 but I have seen 500's as low as £779. This is an excellent cross-country bike with decent spec:
    Jekyll frame (as used in Jekyll 1000, 2000 and 3000) so you have an upgradeable bile if you want too.
    Shimano STX bottom bracket
    Shimano Deore Hubs
    Shimano Deore 9-speed rear cogs
    LX Front Derailleur
    XT Rear Derailleur
