Good Points: The best bits are the rooms, without doubt. They are just sensational considering we paid £66 per night for two of us. That's the same price as a Holiday Inn in Brighton! There is just no comparison. The scenery and location of the hotel is beautiful too. The travel connections from the hotel to nearby Hisaronu, Olu Deniz and Fethiye are reasonably priced and very regular. It is not confusing either, in terms of where to pick the shuttles up from. You just walk down the hill and catch them there. Everyone knows Nicholas Heights and it is without a doubt the best hotel in the area. The cleaning staff are absolutely fantastic and deserve a pay rise. The staff serving coffee etc. actually run everywhere to make sure you're happy. So different from the UK. Even the guy at the bar was pleasant enough, if a little bit hassly in terms of getting you to eat at their hideously overpriced restaurant.

Bad Points: There are a few, unfortunately. If you go for bed and breakfast, you must be aware that you will have to pay extra for freshly squeezed orange juice and you will also need to pay extra for water. I found that absolutely outrageous. When you pay for bed and breakfast, you expect free water at least. The worst thing is that the staff don't tell you and you are expected then to foot the bill at the end. It felt sly and surreptitious. There is a lot of salesmanship going on at the hotel too. It is hard to get independent, impartial There are also wild boar running around grunting and generally being scary when you walk up to the hotel. Scared the living death out of us on more than a few occasions. Watch out for that...

General comments: I am currently staying at Nicholas Heights hotel in Hisaronu. This will be a very fair review and very current indeed. I went through NGI Holidays and I was impressed with them. They picked us up without hassle from Dalamn airport and we had the whole bus to ourselves. The driver was friendly and we were at Nicholas Heights in about one hour. Upon arrival, we were slightly wary about the supposedly surly hotel staff. We were given a smiling welcome, however and were allocated our Deluxe Suite room only a few metres away from reception. We were expecting rude staff, judging by the other reviews here but that just was not the case. The reception staff were very nice and very welcoming. Our tour guide, Elaine, from NGI gave us loads of valuable information and spoke just with us for a full hour. Very professional. The hotel rooms are just absolutely amazing. The jacuzzi is great and there is a beautiful wardrobe and fantastic showers. The view is really good and you can see the Mediterranean and surrounding hills from your room - well, we could anyway.

Hi, this is a long but detailed and very fair review!

We have just returned from a week at St Nicholas Heights, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. Our only regret is that we booked half board, we did not enjoy the evening meal on the first night, although the breakfasts were fantastic (cold buffet and a la carte cooked choice). Other guests we spoke to seemed to be very pleased with the quality of the food in the evenings, however it was not for us. We are not fussy eaters in the s ...
