Not even two years since I bought this kettle and am very disappointed. Chose Kenwood because of it's good reputation...what a joke!! Leaks all over the place, the only good thing about it is the design. Good-looking kettle poor performance. (read more)

This is a nice looking transparent stainless steel effect kettle, but thats where the compliments end! I got this kettle as an exchange for a similar 'Millennium' kettle which leaked and dribbled - now after less than 2 years the new one has the exact same problems. From new, if you pour immediately after boiling, a considerable amount of boiling water dribbles down the side from the spout unless you pour very very slowly! Water is now leaking from the kettle onto the electric connection... (read more)

The main body of the Kenwood JK450 Cordless Electric Kettle developed cracks soon after bought although treated carefully. Thereafter the flooding just got worse and worse. Mopping up was continuous Shame that the very good eco kettle and nice style was let down by the simple requirement to hold water without having it leak all over the kitchen (read more)

Bought my Cordless Kenwood JK450 in May-08 and the seal between water-holder and base has failed flooding the kitchen. Poor quality product from Kenwood, not what you'd expect. Give it a miss! (read more)
