When it opened it was set up to handle a certain amount of people now they open 3 more lots for parking but the park is the same size. $$$$ The kids hate their jobs there. Lines are too long,food is ok but $10.00 for chicken meal.The teenages curse all over the place not suited for children if you plan to walk around.They bus in schools from allover they should set that for certain days, too many people for one place to handle.Save your money go to Great Wolfe Lodge in P.A or Lake George.... Since Splish Splash has been ranked in the top 5 of the best water parks in the US, a lot more people are now heading out east of Long Island to check this out. However I'm not sure if the park is ready to handle this kind of volume. The park opens at 9:30am, we arrived at 10:30am and left around 6:30pm. In the 7 hours spent in the park - after paying $10 for parking (they want to charge $20 for "priority parking") (line up to wait to buy parking entrance), $35 for admission, (after waiting... I should have listened to your comment and not wasted my time today. The park is way over-rated. Oh, and god forbid you have or are a special needs person-no wheelchair accessible rides and no special entrance for kids with disabilities (like Disney and other classy amusement parks). And you also can't bring in your own food/drink. What if you have a food allergy or religious belief of only Kosher food. <br/>The lines were ridiculous and this was a Tuesday and a cool day.

I completely agree. Do not waste your money going to splish splash. We were there for eight hours and only got on four rides. It was very frustrating because as was mentioned people were cutting into the lines, there were no indications of how long the wait was as I've seen at waterparks in Disney and Pennsylvania, the lines were ridiculously wrong....and if you think half hour in the lunch line was long! We had to wait more than an hour because the cashier was so slow that she took more than ten minutes to serve each customer....she was busy talking to her co-workers and she was absennt from her position at the register a few times. People were so frustrated by this nosense. I would never go back!!

I was at Splish Splash with my young daughter who most often couldn't wait 90 minutes on line without having to go to the bathroom. Rules say you must wait on line from beginning. Spent all day there, only made it to 4 rides, the wave pool, and kiddy pirate pool. Very Frustrating! (read more)
