    Upon arrival the hotel Ilyssion appears to be quite a nice place. Guy on reception was friendly enough. He gave us the key and off we went to find the room. When we opened the door we couldn't believe how hot it was in there..it was unbareable! It turns out that a deposit of 20 euros has to be paid to get the remote control for the air con unit. Having paid that, we then noticed that there was a padlock on the fridge in the room. Even though it's plugged in and switched on..you have to pay 3 euros per day for the use of it! Everything costs extra here!. This was annoying, as we didn't think the price of the holiday with olympic was very cheap in the first place. But had decided to pay a little more, in the hope that it might be nicer. In the bathroom there was no holder on the wall for the shower head..you had to hold it in one hand whilst having a shower (awkward).
    The food wasn't too cracking either, ate out most of the time.
    Rhodes island is a really is a nice place, and indeed is the resort of Pefkos.. We love it there. We've been before and will certainly be going again. But we will never stay at the illysion Hotel in the future!
    Such a shame that they're so tight fisted.
