Good Points: All new car, HIPER only use diesel fleet, and fully insured no excess, wide range of choice and good prices very helpful
Bad Points: Depot not at airport about 3 mins away on minibus which is provided. Bit difficult to get on if disabled no lift etc. if in wheelchair or cant get up steps also the fuel policy is silly. If you hire the car for more than 3 days you pay for a full tank and take it back empty which is ok if, 1. Your are not bothered about leaving fuel in you don't use, plus over a year it must mount up to a nice little earner and 2. You don't run out of fuel in the middle of nowhere running around on red, I would rather have a full tank and return it full and only pay for fuel used plus then there is no up front charges for full tank on pick up (Moan over)
General comments: Booked with Holiday Autos so you dont know who you are getting the car off till you get pickup voucher I hired. A small car with aircon, end up once with Fiat Panda, Corsa, KA and Seat Leon to name a few and this time a Punto which I had to take back next day as it developed a fault that concerned me, so HIPER changed it with no fuss for a Fiat Doblo People carrier as they had no small cars, not much difference but no extra charge so was happy, also HA charge a excess waiver at about £35 but consider if you hire cars more than once a year try an excess waiver policy from www.Insurance4carhire.com or http://www.questor-insurance.co.uk/what you save is better in your pocket than theirs.
I have used HA 24 times in 12 years if not more all in all not a bad firm to deal with.
