    Good Points: Really helpful communication, answering all my questions, daft or otherwise and very quickly as well. I was charged more than expected on my bill, so sent all the information through to US CarHire and they sorted it out with Dollar which is perfect as apparently some car hire companies can be very slow to come back to you. Keep all the paperwork you're given by the car hire company in case of problems.


    Bad Points: There's lots of information on the website and it's sometimes a bit difficult to find the answers you need although they are all there. The actual booking is easy but allow time to work through the site.


    General comments: The actual rental is through US firms Alamo, Dollar, Thrifty and Budget so to some extend you're reliant on these firms for the quality of car. We hired three people carriers through Dollar from LAX and went for the Gold option including fuel. They were in very reasonable condition for the price we paid which was the cheapest I could find anywhere.The website gives you options as to what type of service you require so it's worth reading all of it. We hired satnav units too. These are posted to you before you leave and you need to post them back within two days of return (excluding Sundays and bank holidays). I don't think we'd have coped without these!The people I had contact with were really helpful and I'd definitely use them again.
