Dropped my galaxy s7 edge, smashed screen and rear cover, sent for repair on wednesday received phone on friday, happy days so i thought until a while later the rear cover came away from the phone. Contacted lloyds, ok we'll send you a plastic envelope to get it repaired, received text informing me the phone had been received, a week later i get a call informing me the phone was received damaged and a new claim will need to be made, asked for evidence they sent photos of the rear all smashed… Read Full Review

Excellent Service - I agree with someone's comment below that people are more inclined to leave bad reviews so I also wanted to assure people that it isn't all negative. I accidentally smashed the phone screen of my Samsung S6 Edge on Thursday afternoon (06/04) and called TSB with whom I have phone insurance with that evening. I have posted my Samsung S6 Edge for screen replacement. I was told that it cannot be repaired and I will receive a 'new' phone. Fair enough. On the paperwork that came via email there was a note: 'If you want your phone to be sent back to different address please state the address here:..' I've used this phone insurance twice now. Both times my phone was water damaged. They advertise the service as 'repaired in 1-3 working days' upon receipt of the phone. Add another day or two for 'processing' the phone and assigning an engineer. They didn't fix it properly the first time & I had issues with the screen peeling away. Lost my Samsung S7 Edge, phoned them and they emailed me the form filled it and took my proof of purchase from my network provider posted it on Tuesday for next day delivery and on Wednesday i received an email stating that they received my form, after 4 hours i received an email saying that my application has been accepted and that i will receive my replacement phone tomorrow. This is not insurance it is a sham. My nearly new (two weeks old) Samsung S7 Edge fell and had a few minor cracks in the screen. I had not taken out the insurance in the shop when I bought it because I had on my bank account. I got two quotes (one from the Samsung service centre) of about £250 to replace the screen. My daughters phone has now been in twice for repair and it's still not working properly, all this within 2 weeks. Now we have been promised a "new" phone which we all know won't be new. Lloyds Bank need to sit up and take notice of the reviews on here and do something about it, so far it has cost us almost £60 and we still have a phone she cannot use. sent in My I phone 5s for repair after water damaged, this was sent I the original supplied Apple box ,the repaired phone was returned in a black corrugated box, phone customer services to try and retrieve the box and got told that all packaging is discarded trash . No way....someone has to stop this criminal act if the government not gonna act fast.... hoe cab they be giving out refurbish phones after paying monthly fee for years and 100pounds excess charges..wow rip off.. the packaging they do when sending the phones will say it all..how useless the replacement phone gonna be.. they must return ur case.. and all ur accessory . I claimed for my iPhone 6s after dropping in water. I had only had the phone for 5 months and it was completely immaculate. Although Lloyds replaced my phone with a brand new one using fast courier delivery, it was a silver one instead of the rose gold one that I sent to them. Dropped iPhone and smashed front, and the back, it even stopped working after a while. Called the Barclays phone insurance group, LSG, and they provided a form via email immediately so I filled it in, paid the excess and received and acceptance email within 3 days. I sent the phone on a Monday and had it back on the Friday fully repaired, working and looking mint.
