Speakers and microphone were faulty on my S3, sent off to LSG for repair / replacement. The phone they sent back fixed the speaker /microphone fault but they didnt check the wi-fi component as this only worked when placed about 1 foot from a router. Had to send the phone back as a 2nd repair - customer services told me it would be treated as an urgent repair. I was very happy with the service I had received. My phone broke very badly from a fall and within a week it was repaired and sent back to me by courier service. Customer service was excellent. I sent it off on the weds and 5 days later I had it back again, in a brand spanking new condition! Managed to run my 64gb iPhone 5S through the washing machine on Sunday 10th August. Stuck it in a bowl of rice for 24hrs then gave it a try...nope, dead as a dodo. Dropped my Samsung galaxy s4, accepted my claim and I returned to them a week later received my phone back with different imei number and it was also locked, even though I had sent letter with claim advising them that I had paid orange to unlock my phone, now they will not unlock it until I send them proof of unlocking, I have now been without phone for 8 days, it will take 7/10 days to receive proof via orange, then I need to send proof to lloyds which will also take time and apparently takes… Read Full Review

This issue with LSG has been since I first dealt with them through lloyds gold service, I broke my iPhone 4s screen and claimed on the insurance, the excess was £100, I paid it as I needed my phone for work, I was expecting exceptional service as I had just paid £100 on top of my monthly fee at lloyds. After seeing the reviews left on this site I was very optimistic about the service I would recieve after loosing my phone while abroad. “Unauthorised Software”

I dropped my phone and broke it which resulted in a cracked screen and the phone constantly resetting. I paid £50 to LSG and made a claim explaining both faults. My phone was returned with the screen fixed but not the resetting. I sent it back and this time they lost it for 3 weeks before 'fixing' and returning it me. Hi. Have you taken your phone to a HTC store? It could be the case that you're phone was 'fixed' with counterfeit parts. I'm currently working as a junior researcher for a BBC1 show that deals with consumer issues, and we've picked up a story about mobile phone insurance companies using fake parts. If you could reply to this comment to let me know how your experience has developed and whether or not it has been confirmed that your phone now contains fake parts, then I'd love to get in contact with you for the show.

Hit a few hurdles in the beginning when I claimed my lost S3..they asked me for proof of usage showing last time phone was used which I couldnt provide as I was using pay as you go..I called my service provider and they said in order to get that I would need to fill and application with a 10 pound fee and wait 40 days to get the report. rung up Lloyds when I smashed my xperia z. it broke on the Wednesday and they emailed me the forms to fill in and send with the phone after accepting the claim over the phone. I smashed the LCD screen on my samsung which costs around £180 to get repaired! Phoned LSG and the claim was submitted and accepted within 5 minutes. £50 excess is pretty reasonablefor a repair bill of this amount. got the phone back within 5 working days of actually sending it and the DPD delivery is faultless. I have silver account in lloyds bank so every month I have to pay £9.95 account fee. Recently my iPhone 4s power button was not working and my phone was not holding charge, so I called them and they accept my claim. They charged £100 from my account ( all other banks charge less than £50). They asked me to send my phone to them. It cost £7.25. They only fixed my power button but they did not fix others. Had an unfortunate and freak episode with my five month old iPhone 5s where it fell out of my hand and into a puddle on May 20th 2014. Credit where it's due, Lloyds were really good at sorting me out.
