Good Points: Amazing Backgrounds. Great Charachter Detail. Massive range of moves. Good, Fast based combat system.
Bad Points: Adventure fights can end up repetetive with the contant fighting of Link as a sub-boss. Limited range of fight stages.
General comments: Brilliant over all, although small disapointments restrained the game from getting the highest result possible. You will love it.

Addictive, fun and easy to pick up and play but large difficulty curve, single player an afterthought. Overall a great game and a great party game.

I liked the modes and stuff I also like the stages, the lack of characters and camera control made me mad though and thought they could of done more work on this. But everything else is great, the game still has the amazing Super Smash Bros gameplay and I do recommend it for the GameCube.

It has a lot of characters, Super Smash Bros. Melee is easy to play which is my favourite aspect of the gameplay as I like games that are simply fun and not to hard and involves lots of time. This game is perfect for me on the gamecube. Very good and well recommended due to its simplicity and entertainment factor.

I'm loving this game. nice people, stages, everything. This game's the best game out in 2001. i cant wait till Super Smash Bros. Brawl come out on February. I bet thats even better.

Super Smash Bros. Melee is a masterpiece from Nintendo. Only for the gamecube and perhaps the only game you will need for the gamecube as it brilliantly entertaining and is one you can do over and over again. The game has developed much from it's previous version with many more unlockable characters, stages, and new weapons. When I first played it, I thought it was going to be like the first one, with only four unlockable characters. Instead it was just the opposite and has maybe 12 to 14 unlockable characters. I think the only flaws are that it could be too adicting -- it could leave you playing it for hours and hours, especially how you unlock Mewtwo, which takes you a long time to do. Other than that the game is probably one of the best we will ever play.

Wow! The Super Smash Bros. Melee Gamecube game is a great game! I personally like Tales of Symphonia better, but that isn't a very popular game any way. I liked the graphics, stages, characters and ALL of it!

Simply, the Super Smash Bros. Melee GameCube game is the most fun multiplayer game ever created! It can be used by people of all skill levels, and everybody has FUN.
This is the most played game with friends, as it is so awesome as a multiplayer game. Our tournaments have gone down in legend, and I cannot believe I lost the last time.
This was one of the games that I bought on release, and it is possibly the best cash I have ever spent!
This game is a must for true multiplayer fans! ...

Super Smash Bros. Melee is one of the best games to ever release...period, for any system. It is just non-stop fun for literally ALL ages. The moves your character performs are like any other fighting game (except for the first SSB game!). You don't have to hit a series of buttons to get a fighter to do only one combo that to be honest, doesn't even work unless you do it just right. As long as you have timing and you know what your character can do, you can in a sense make your own combos. As so ...

Super Smash Bros. Melee is just awesome! One of the best games. I bought it from a brilliant shop which sells all sorts, I saw that it had all of my best characters in it. Mario, Donkey Kong, Bowser, and many more fun characters. But you can also retreve many more great characters. But I won't tell you because there attacks are special.
If you see the jumps and points to kick on other games, they are so different to others, it's kind of hard to admit! It's a great game! So I give it a wonderful ...

With lots of trophies to get, this is one of the best fighting games yet, including old classics. Like the Mario stars, Legend Of Zelda ,pokemon and more. A great multiple player game.

Super Smash Bros. Melee is the best game on the gamecube, even if it is quite old. From the first game I bought it I have never stopped playing it. It is a really good games for partys. There is also so much to do on the game, lots to unlock and lots of tasks to do. Now it is a really cheap game and it is worth getting.

Super smash bros. melee is great I can just keep playing it for ever even though i already unlocked all the guys. It has a lot more awsome characters then the first one for nintendo 64 like bowser, ganodorf and my favorites marth and roy. Thats just some of them. It also has lots of awsome levels.

Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Gamecube is 100% Nintendo. All characters (including hidden ones) are from a Nintendo game of past. The graphics are very pleasing to the eye and in no point in the game does it slow down, the game runs at a constant 60fps which is mighty impressive. This game will last at least a year and if you have friends, much longer. A good game for one person, unbeatable multiplayer mode. Once again, Nintendo are leading the party.
