Very poor suction but ok when blowing. Motor burnt out after second season of very light use. Not worth spending any more money on it as it is very poor at doing the job it was designed for. It went to the local tip to be recycled. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MACHINE.

Blowing is good but suction is very weak. Useless as a garden vacuum for leaves. How did it ever get on to the market as its not fit for purpose? Keep well clear of this machine!

Weak no suction and very boring its loud and its weak and is now going to rot at the back of the shed, I will now borrow a friends stihl back pack blower which is a proper piece of kit. And if i could give this junk 0 stars i would and that would be the end of it

Would not recommend the Flymo Garden Vacuum - which is a shame as the rest of my garden products are flymos. Very noisy and little suction. Motor started smelling and burnt out after 11 months of very light work.

I need a machine to move chestnut leaves - 5 trees worth! Last year used a borrowed 1400w Red Devil blower vac and was impressed as it blew then shred 18 bin bags of debris.
I honestly cannot see how the flymo could even contemplate such a job particularly maneuvering large piles of leaves for shredding.
I am returning the machine to the store and exchanging it for a superior machine.
This machine should be avoided. It is not fit for purpose I don;t think.

When using this Flymo Garden Vacuum the user is covered in a cloud of dust as is everyone and everything in the immediate area. This is my 2nd flymo and the original was very good but past its sell buy. I bought this item because it was lighter and easier to use but I think it is useless, I mean totally! Despite its 2500w (1000w larger than my old machine) it does not blow and can suck only very small items. Do Not Buy its a waste of time.
