Attitude of staff we did manage to find was appalling they didn't give a monkeys . Recommend that the manager and his staff. Go On A training course for manners and customer care. Try Bents garden centre in glaze bury. They have excellent stock. Fabulous cafe and incredibly helpful and well mannered staff. (read more)

We now use Ashton Moss as it has excellent access for Hubby's wheelchair and the Sage gardening club gives us discount off all purchases plus free gifts. The range of goods is excellent and the staff pleasant and very helpful.I save petrol and time using one centre and have tried lots of local ones, but this is the best. The centre is a good size but not so big its exhausting. All facilities are easy to find too ie cafe and toilets, saves all that wandering round that you have at bigger places. (read more)

Lovely garden centre, though like all garden centres a bit expensive. I would rate it higher than 3 stars but with working full time I can only go at weekend because it doesn't stay open late at night. If it stayed open till 8pm I would mark it higher. I visited the tropical fish dept. at weekend, the staff are very knowledgeable and we're a great help. The fish tanks are extremely clean. I also like the addition of the Edinburgh Wool shop and Cotton Traders shop. (read more)

The only thing I think, but perhaps this goes across garden centres, certain items are disproportionally expensive. A flimsy 3 piece... (read more)
